Sorry mate, you're just going to have to settle for burning Denerim to the ground and massacring all its inhabitants.
BTW, I don't know how they're ending this little "alt-U-excursion", but it seems like if a Blight were ever to be victorious, it would mean the darkspawn overrunning all of Thedas and destroying the world. (Previous Blights were defeated.) Everything would be tainted. There would be no life other than the darkspawn, everything else would be killed off and destroyed.
I guess that might be the ending you're treated to in the epilogue, if you're really hungry to see it. Hey, the last game I remember seeing the end of the world in was Missile Command.

The blight wouldn't overrun Thedas with the destruction of Denerim. Only Ferelden. There are plenty more Grey Wardens to try and stop the blight just about everywhere else.
You're right. The epilogue will probably only be the complete & utter destruction of Ferelden and all its inhabitants.
Good times, go get a beer. Right?

In addition, it will say that you should buy DA2 in which an Orlaisian Grey Warden (YOU) will have to stop the blight before they destroy Orlais just like they did in Ferelden.

I like the idea but it sounds rather boring.....
Took me an hour and a half to complete denirim with the normal story line....
and darkspawn are eaily killed
it will be game over before you can say nug dropping!

They need the money, payroll etc.. I'm guessing it'll be about as long to finish as RTO. I'm wondering if the spawn will talk (voice) to each other or will it be all text.

Nah. It's in an alternative universe/timeline. You get to watch it happen, then you find Bobby Ewing in the shower, and realize it was all just a bad dream.
And then, "because things that happen in the Fade affect the material world," your Warden will eventually find an item called Blightblood, even though I guess s/he just dreamt that all this happened in a world in which they had died.
I know. It's a game. It's something that isn't even really canonical, sort of like that Star Trek episode where the crew were all evil and Spock had a beard. That should make me not care.
I guess the fact that I do is one of the reasons RPGs are games I prefer to mindless-carnage shooters.
But oh well.

That's reason I always played Sith in KOTOR or that's why I love playin my fav. badass-Overlord-..Simply put beein goody-two-shoes I love u all,and I'll save u all no matter how many times u screw me over is getin stale for me
i understand the apeal of choosing to be evil such as turning to the sith and using cunning skill to cause mayhem but just mindless killing isnt much fun especialy as a random darkspawn u wont get to reap the benefits not to mention the whole what if thing just makes it seem pointless.

It'd be a nice touch. Instead of, y'know, playing as some badass hurlock who simply doesn't exist when you play through the game.
Ah well, missed opportunity like so many others.
