You have your anwser, that answer is this - A patch is coming, we are working on it. No ETA.
You either accept that or you don't. But the answer isn't going to change.
Here's the problem with that, it has been the only response we've gotten for the last six+ months with no real fixes, we get that line around dlc release time then silence for another month or two until the next dlc comes out. It just seems like PR to ease people's concerns so they'll buy the newest dlc, I hate saying that, but from what we've actually gotten for fixes it does make sense.
2. Regarding the bold section -- I very much doubt that. You are, after all, here complaining on their very forums. You, like everyone else here, are a serious fan. You, in all likelihood, will continue to buy BW.
Sadly the lack of support this game has recieved is causing these "serious fans" to reevaluate their opinion of Bioware. A lot of people will not be buying more of their games, or at least waiting for about six months before even considering it, and you really can't blame them. No one is expecting a perfect bug-free game, but when game breaking bugs still exist six months after release it really makes you wonder how important support is compared to marketing, dlc, and new games being worked on. They may be working on a patch, but I wonder how much resources are actually being used to fix this game.

Sadly, I went from die hard fan to not even caring. I'll get Mass Effect 3 to finish off the trilogy, but any further games will be waited on for a long time before purchase (aka: No more pre-orders of BioWare games). I'm sure I'm not alone.

In terms of buying a car, BW sold a car that can speed up to 100 mph (according to the publicity and user manual), but in reality it does speed up to 30 mph (dex bug),which is not such an issue because you can still drive the car. But there is a problem when you fill up the petrol tank, the car would not start (corrupted saves)... you've got to wait 24 hrs until you can start the engine... again the car is able to move... none of the above problems are considered serious because the bloody car still can move!... unless the car explodes, that would be real problem and it is considered a game breaking bug (the car is totally broken into pieces or in plain terms, the game is not able to play or your xbox explodes because of DAO).
If you are annoyed and upset, how is that? the bloody car is able to move, isn't it? that's what you paid for... what are you whining about, sorry if you didn't read the small print, you accepted the car as-is, about how fast you can go?, that is your problem, who wants to speed up 100 mph, anyway?... there are more important problems, what about if your car explode?, but you know what?, we are working on that, to prevent that you car could explode... but do not worry, you can still drive the car... in the meantime, take this brochure of the 2011 model...

What you guys fail to realize is that Bioware is either:
a) not even reading your posts
or
In your mind, you think you're posting as die hard fan who is disappointed and wants to see something to restore your confidence in them. But from Bioware's perspective, you're nerd-raging, going off topic, and on the verge of spamming.
This thread will be unceremoniously deleted when the next big announcement comes (just like a previous thread was), and all the energy you put in would have been for naught.
Forums are just not the right medium for meaningful comunication to effect change. I learned that lesson four months ago when I erroneously put too much emotional investment into an issue that Bioware "had no interest in."

That seems like a bit of an exageration.
It's more like if you were told you could speed up to 100mph, but could really only go 70ish (and you had to mix your fuel with unleaded strength to do that, but they didn't tell you that ahead of time).
Luckily, they opened up a trade in program wherein you could switch out the 2009 Roguester for a 2009 Magivan or 2009 Road Warrior. So you could still drive 100 if you were willing to do that while you were waiting for the repairs on the 2009 Roguester 1.02 recall.

Indeed but at the cost of paying another 100 pounds, when the publicity stated that you can go 100 mph... if you drive at 70ish good for you, but if you aim to drive to 100 mph, and the publicity states that. would you go for that, wouldn't you do it? (a trap I know)... but in your case if the publicity had stated that you can not go up to 30 mph, would you have considered it?... sorry but not in the Roguester plan sold by Micromotors (Xbox) retailer that is another deal...

Or maybe we post simply because it feels good to vent your frustrations. Maybe I expect nothing more out of it than that. Also, maybe being right in and of itself has it own rewards.
Though you really should look up the definition of spam. I personally do not see how any of this rises to that level.

Wicked, m8, I think purple did it in good faith, not trying to diminish our posts, he speaks out of personal experience, which is very valid... he is not supporting THE statement of the Game of the Year, or What-u say is bullocks-since I can play the game with no issues--, he's stating his experience, and looking back into the posts he made ages ago. those were deleted...

we feel that it is a sham that new content for sale, is ignoring the content that is broken,
this is a plce to post disatisfaction, because we are ticked that new purchasable content is comming out without a word as to the problems many of us are having.
and that we got what amounts to an f-you from Bioware concerning patches being a privelidge, while they hide behind the EULA.
we are being dismissed as if we are being told, "sucks to be you"
so why wouldnt we diss the new content in its own thread?
if some of you who say you have no problems, were in fact having problems, you would be right here and in other threads that are current, exspressing your disatisfaction as well.
we who are having probless have our good hard earned money tied up in across a game and an xpack that we cannot enjoy, what else can we do?
other than to post our frustration in threads that are EA\\Bioware saying hey we got new content for your money, come spend some more of your money!
it is our right to post and to say hey wait before you spend more money on this new content, think about what they are doing to loyal customers first, because this could be you!
these things fit into any thread because they are pressing forward with more sales while a good many of us cant even play whats already out! and then they have the gall, invoke their EULA and say that patches are a privelidge!
again if any of you who are not having problems, were having the same problems as many of us, you would be right here with us, raising your voice as well for a fix.

There are things that no mod can fix and effect all DA players:
Broken sigrun/velanna joining
Missing black blade armors
Instant 100 approval bug
AND while they did tell us DLC wouldn't be allowed in DA:A... they're "It gets outpaced fast" excuse is a joke. Call it what it is... bad programming/bad testing.... Mods fixed it right away for the PC, but to Xbox and PS3 players (like my brother), a Mod isn't an option. We paid for the exclusive content.. we can't take it over? I don't even care about the weapons/armor... I'd like to have the Warden Keep abilities work at the very least.
On-topic I am happy they are still making content though. I just can't justify buying it till what's broken is fixed.
A semi-bad analogy (its late i'm tired):
If a company sells me a TV that doesn't get all the channels I'm SUPPOSED to have... but then tries to sell me more channels.. no way I'm paying for that till I get the channel's I already paid for.

That's why many people love and hate this game at the same time, if it actually got some of the fixes it needs most people would have no problem buying the dlc. They seem to have no problem making patches for the dlc to run properly, why can't they add on a few small fixes with that? Like the fix for dex, or a missing quest reward etc., something small that is easy to add.
