patch patch patch,
if you were having trouble you would be right here wanting a patch yourself.
have you ever complained about something that was broken in any game you have had?
if so then you know how it feels to spend good money on a game and its xpack and have issues that everything you have tried to resolve on you own is not working.
i will continue posting until they fix the game for those of us, that no amount of solutions have had any effect.
if you dont like seeing these post5s then do not read them.

See, there we go - I was unaware of the fact that 1.02 wasn't properly applied to Xboxedgarcabrerauk wrote...
For clarification, the patch 1,02 was never delivered to Xbox, here is explained in detail.
On regards of the dex bug, it does not ruin the game, but it is used as excuse or argument for not fixing the bugs due to prioritisation and it is a bug that exists since day 1 as the corrupted saves. The main point I'm trying to make is that on the Xbox version, we all (Xbox owners) received a product with defects and EA/BW have done nothing to fix it after 6+ months.
(I still say investing Dex into an Arcane Warrior isn't needed though, heh)
I do wonder how much of this has to do with Microsofts policies. Supposedly Valve hasn't been able to do the hundreds of patches they've done for Team Fortress 2 on the PC for the Xbox not because they don't want to, but because they can't.
Hopefully when XBox Live 3 comes out some of the silly restrictions will be done away with and console and PC players will be able to sit together at the table of brotherhood in an oasis of bug fixes and satisfaction

I wish we can say that it is a MS issue ( and I really don't like MS), but we haven't heard any word from EA/BW in that aspect, only that they are working on the patch... and it's been 6+ months.
With AW, on the Xbox, I max the dex but still with a hit rate of 85%... a friend of mine, did the same stats build and the hit rate was of 95%, in his game you could see the AW blocking and evading some hits, in mine, none... we used the same dex increasing gear and still the difference was quite noticeable. This got worse with Awakenings, the hit rate when down to 80%, the thing with magic and the buffs is that there's a cap of +20 to attack, so the only thing left is dex.
I agree with you, lets hope things just get better with xbox live... or that EA/BW deliver a patch.

It won't necessarily be exactly the same, but Return to Ostagar January 29th for the Xbox/PC (after it was pulled on January 13th).Ahzrei wrote...

It was released March 11th for the PS3.
So, 1-2 months if it followed the same pattern.
Fair enough, I wasn't aware of a +20 magic attack bonus cap.edgarcabrerauk wrote...

But, as I said, while this bug should have been (PC)/should be (XBox (and PS3?)) fixed, it remains that there were some cries for blood over it (and I still see some), when it's definitely not game breaking.
Granted, on these forums almost anything turns into a cry for blood. Heh.
My release Arcane Warrior was before 1.02, and she did have a *fairly* high miss rate, I suppose. But she still made it through Nightmare just fine

If you include Awakening I suppose that could be true.PendragonV wrote...
Seems that Bioware is siphoning Origins as much as possible
But all there's been post launch is RtO ($5), this DLC ($5) and Feast Day ($0-3).
That's still clocks in at less than Activision (successfully) mooched cash off 1 million+ MW2 players for 3 maps
Even if we include Warden's Keep (I sort of consider that "Collector's Edition" premium - since it did come with the digital CE), it's still only $17-$20.
Though, I will continue to grant that $17 for 3-5 hours of content is pretty steep (when compared to the main game's length).

As I agree is not game breaking, that does not exclude EA/BW responsibility to patch a faulty product (in the case of Xbox) and following the same logic, "only game breaking bugs are considered for a patch", why the achievements and trophies bugs were patched (in the xbox after killing 100 darkspawns, it is an achievement and counts some gamer points)??... neither you nor I can answer that question, only EA/BW...
And after 6+ months of the same old song: "we are working on it", the most likely is to wear off your clients and that leads to frustration to end telling EA/BW to bug off (as the poster above)...

Yeah, I always wondered how consoles would be able to use the hotkeys off the keyboard that PC users have. It gives us 9 keys that we can use in combat mode to activate skills with a single keystroke. So, they dummied down the game and made it easier for console players. It t'would appear to be a general statement of console games overall - are console games anything more than button-mashing combos?

How are they "throwing away" anything? This is a total side mission/alternate history to the main game.MonkeyChief117 wrote...

The console versions have 8 hotkeys for combat - I guess that counts as a "limitation" vis a vis the PC version. You'd think a PC user as smart as you might have been able to use those fancy search features on the PC before making stupid statements.
