worst thing since pinnacle DLC, 4/10 on eurogamer total waste of time
I don't trust the rating of anyone with less than 1,000 hours into the game!

I love Dragon Age so much and i'm very interested in new DLC's and Expansions for this game, but if Bioware goes on producing only such garbage i'm done with the Dragon Age Universe.

I do like the idea of this being the experience the new recruit Grey Warden goes through during the joining. From that percective I can imagine it would be worth while.
For now I will have to settle for playing Origins as playing different characters until the release of Dragon Age 2 OR until I break down and try out some of the other games I have on my shelf. I have never been this sucked in by a game. Just about every gamer at my work has either played through Origins/Awakenings or is in the mist of playing. All of us agree this is the best RPG so far.

dont ask me if i didnt do the quest right, i used sevral guides, deleted the DLC, reDLed it, deleted all darkspawn saves and even tried to recover my gamertag...
the achievement is broken and im pissed, i have every single one besides this one... and when i contacted tech support, they said there was nothing they could do...
hopefully there will be a patch soon... either that or im boycotting ALL THINGS bioware

It's pretty epicly coincidental that that guy was working on it at the same time as Bioware and released it a few days prior to DSC being announced.
Another mod of interest is this one, which upgrades Blightblood's damage slightly to match Tier 9 stats when you're in Awakening instead of Tier 7.

I predict he'll find it anti-climactic. Then again, who knows what banalities give some people the lulz.agoodwin wrote...

As for the DLC Drk Spwn Chron, a friend that always tries to see the positive side, didn't have much to say about it.
Something to think about, the price is not important. Their level of work is. To me it really seems like DA:O has jumped the shark and they are working on Mass Effect and SWTOR. DA:O was under development BEFORE EA bought them, and it shows. DA:O is possibly the best game I've ever played. Period. They put in the wrench time and realy got it right. Since it's launch it's going down hill with wasted DLC etc. I won't even get started on awakenings.

The next DLC should be called "The Developer Chronicles" and we get to play a developer. Then we can see what really goes on, behind the scenes, do they work, or just play console games and eat hot pocketslol

Yes, well stated. I recall that I read somewhere that they began work on Origins in 2004 (wow 6 years ago). I agree with you about it being possibly the best game I've ever played, too. Sure it has a few minor bugs but still everything else is RPG perfection imo. One can really see the love that went into the original and then everything has gone downhill since. lol at "The Developer Chronicles" - don't give them any ideas.

Seriously Bioware this better not be your quality for future DLC's or I will not support you any further.

It seems the whole thing was cheaply made... no new content was added, none of the characters actually spoke.

Sure.
Was an hour of mindless fun and had points leftover for when I'll buy the upcoming ME2 DLC.
I was hoping they added at least SOMETHING for the RPG but nope, nada.. nothing to be seen.

that's why they throw out this cheap stuff. there are always enough people (mainly console players) to earn quick money without spending quality.
It's a shame really.. you can tell this is EA showing it's hand.
