Sorry, I am not interested at all.
In the meantime I hope that Leliana's Song will be back at the quality we were used to from Bioware.

The concept sounds kinda interesting, but I think I'll pass. I don't usually take this perspective, but it just doesn't feel like good value for my money. What gameplay I've seen doesn't look all that engaging and the ultimate reward is one that I know I'd never ever use anyways. The upcoming Leliana one will probably appeal to me more.

I bought Darkspawn Chronicles and made 2 playthrough. I will play more playthroughs just to see how it is to fight the whole Darkspawn Chronicles as Ogre and as Shriek.
I had a lot of fun playing DC and i would by a sequel of the Dark Spawn Chronicles.

Yeah, me too. I love me some Leliana. I'll be disappointed if her DLC is subpar.

Interesting how many people are skipping this. Of course their choice.
Reminds me of the PC game of Lord of the Rings where you could play the "right" way as the books, but also as the dark side as Sauron etc. It was interesting to see how things might have worked out if Frodo died before he threw the ring in the lava.
For 5$ I'm definately giving it a go. I just love all different things to do, no matter what they are.

Just played it, didn't like it. It was ok, but easy to forget it once you finished it. No storry what so ever. Old "friends" are just named NPC who take more hits before they die. Simple click and kill. Same way you can make dwarf, elfs and farmer chronicals.
Reward was - "eh", to say the least.
Nothing bad with, just not DA level. If 520p is not a lot of money for you, then go ahead and buy it, otherwise you REALLY don't miss anything.

I have to agree with Klimy on this. Pretty much hack and slash, a nice diversion from the game though. Reward seems to be a achievement and a weapon I didn't notice in my inventory in the real game.
Of course the name they gave Dog in this DLC made me cringe. .... Wish Alistair would have begged for his life before I killed him though. Ah well.

wihtout being really interested to play darkspawn (i play DAO for the story and character development not so much for hack&slay), i did buy this DLC and would have payed even more in order to ensure BioWare getting good enough results with the DAO franchise to continue the series.
Knowing about other EA actions (anyone remembers the famous Origin Group ? (Ultima Series, Wing Commander, Privateer ..) its important to ensure this studio having success in order to continue their unique aproach. Great story, character developments, great rpg stuff, cool combat system, wicked victories and a more adult approach named dark fantasy. In Ultima VII EA was characterized through the Guardian as the "Destroyer of worlds" ;-) which is at the end exactly what happened in real life..
The three evil 'Generators' created by The Guardian in the game took the
physical shapes of the Electronic Arts Logo: a cube, a
sphere, and a tetrahedron.
would pay even twice for every package even though i did not liked DAA much (story gets momentum at end, but character development and companions are poor compared to DAO, continuity DAO->DAA is also quite lame imho) and Darkspawn Chronicles is not too much of an interest to me.

You have put into words my feelings exactly. I play DAO for the same reasons' After Awakening I felt flat.

It wasn't too bad. Just felt like a fun little 'what if' but nothing epic.

Well, I enjoyed it while I was playing it, but the ending was just so... depressing.
I mean, it was good DLC from the point of view of varying gameplay... and giving us the Darkspawn point of view and opening our ears to the Archdemon's whispers was cool...
But the scene with Alistair at the very end was just horrible. I know that's what one is aiming for, but...
Well, I guess it was emotionally effective! (One quibble, though, with the choice of armies for the defenders. Why have Alistair make choices that he vocally opposed in the main game? It makes no sense!)
In other news, how many times can Bioware get away with reusing areas from the standard game in innovative ways? Interested parties want to know.

I beat the DLC in Hard but I didn't get the sword in either Origins OR Awakening. What the hell?
