I don't have the configuration utility popping up.

For ME2 I try to import my past saves but it's telling me it's can't find any ME1 saves because I need to run the configuration utility. The issues is the sceen for it isn't popping up when I go to the "Import ME1 save" screen. Am I doing something wrong? I'll already unistalled ME2 and reinstalled it before. Or does Steam just have issues with ME2?

For the Steam version, it does take a bit of time to open up the screen to find the directory to grab your ME1 character to import. I run the Steam version myself and get it crashing on the first attempt but working on the second (and it's weird since I can't repeat it all the time since it only happens after I reinstall the game). Just go ahead and retry the option in the config tool.

Ok so I'll just sit and wait then. What confused me is another screen pops up telling me I need to run the Configuration Utility.
