Just an interesting thought that i had pass through my head while playing ME2.

What if the reapers were the first civilized race ever in the galaxy that acheived absolute technological evolution
and then they decided to sacrifice their civilization and make themselves into reapers as a part of what they saw
as their technological evolution.  This first race could of placed an incredible amount of value on these machines and saw machines as the pinnacle of evolution which would back how Soveirgn said the Repears were the pinnacle of life/existence as i recall.  These new beings coudl then have traveled into darkspace and prey on newly developed species to help resupply them as there are no resources in dark space that I am aware of.

The Reapers are robots made by a hyper advanced race in M31 for the sole purpose of ****ing with us.

Interesting I just have to say that there really isnt any "dark space", I mean space is dark yes but even outside of any galaxy there are all kinds of things out there, nebulas and yes even stars and planets and other things but most of the matter in space does tend to confine itself into a galaxy because of gravity.I really only have one real problem with the idea of this game, the reapers say that they are eternal,but they are not invincible,Problem with that means if they arent invincible that means they have limited power wich means they cant last forever even if they take in an energy supply they would run down over time and die.But thats no big deal, its the 50,000 years that bother me. Lets just say that from an animal to a space going species takes more than a million years evalutionarilly.Something to think about if you dont like it let me know didnt want to ruin anything:)
