The DLC's and therefor the increased save data messed up Fallout 3, it freezes up every 5 min on the ps3.

But please, PLEASE, at least have a significant presence of dialogue choices.
I didn't see a lot of "dialogue" in that trailer.
Now BTW maybe the grunts & growls of the un-sentient darkspawn are actually a language (which they "know" and maybe could be translated for the player) and so yes this could theoretically have "dialogue".
But ... didn't look like it to me. Looked like a lot of selecting, clicking, and attacking in the midst of a massive battle (namely, the siege of Denerim).
i.e. this is why this looks to me like a warhammer-type RTS set in the DA setting, not another RPG experience.
The Q & A does say the Archdemon "communicates" with you, I am curious what that means, exactly. Do you hear it as a voice in your mind? Orders flash across the screen?

That is a update to fix PS3 fireware issue. What about for the Xbox?
... PC, Mac ...
and the gameplay bugs that are affecting everybody regardless of platform ...
BTW, I'm not upset that they're releasing new content without a patch.
I think I'm starting to get more upset as to what kind of new content they're releasing without a patch.
FeastDay Pranks .... funny pranks & gifts that add no dialogue to the game.
Darkspawn Chronicles .... interesting RTS minigame set in the DA setting with, AFAICT, no dialogue added to the game.
Am I starting to see a trend? Look, I know it's hard writing those dialogue trees and recording the VAs, Bio. If you've decided to stop, let us "RPG players" who LIKE dialogue as part of the game know - mmmmkay?

I'm not sure why people are getting angry about the existence of this DLC. (I am not referring here to people who are frustrated that the bugs they are experiencing aren't addressed as of yet. Bugs are bad.)The nature of DLC is that it allows BioWare to try different things that will appeal to different parts of their audience.
As much as most folks believe that their play style is the only correct one, BioWare has a huge following made up of people with a myriad of playing styles.
So far for DLC we've gotten: The Stone Prisoner, Warden's Keep, Return to Ostagar, Awakenings, Feast Day Gifts, and now Dark Spawn Chronicles.
A little something for for lot's of different play styles in there. That's a good thing.

Um definately a NO on the Darkspawn Chronicles for me. I will not and cannot bring myself kill my buddies even though it a game. Playing darkspawn would be interesting but let those who like to be evil have it all to themselves. This is one download I won't be doing, but good idea on giving folks another playing perspective.
I totally agree, and I will definitely not be able to kill Alistair!! hehe

Sokay. We can sit this one out like we did FeastDay.
I'm just mostly hoping this hasn't become the "play style" they're going to continue to develop for.

Agreed. I like that it's not all the same thing rehashed!

I got one question. When it says what if YOU died in
the joining, what if the PLAYER hero failed, etc, etc,
is it really the player character or just some random Warden?
I know this is a nit and to be honest it won't have much affect on if I
buy this DLC or not. I'm just tired of BW's doubletalk in their hype.
Thanks.

You could just run the final battle in Denerim without any healing pots or tactics, let the archdemon kill you and save your 5 bucks.Alodar wrote...

Once again, I say that what I see is a rapid decline in quality, particularly in the quality of party interaction and storytelling, in the latter half of your list. Or, more like the latter 2/3rds.So far for DLC we've gotten: The Stone Prisoner, Warden's Keep, Return to Ostagar, Awakenings, Feast Day Gifts, and now Dark Spawn Chronicles.

If our fans demonstrate particular support for one type of content over another, however, we'll obviously do our best to provide more of that sort of content in the future.
Right. Give us a DLC with a hour long mission for each companion with dialog and conversation trees of the quality of the original game. Charge 560 pts and I will buy it day one.
