Check out the new trailer for Darkspawn Chronicles now on GameSpot!
You'll also find a Q&A with Lead Designer Rob Bartel, where he discusses the new role you'll play as part of the Darkspawn onslaught!
What a complete joke! Yet another Q&A and still no question for the dev about BW getting off their lazy ****ing greedy money grubbing asses and fixing the game.
Question 1: When are you going to fix the game?
Question 2: Considering how buggy DA:O, the expansion and all of your DLC is, why should anyone one buy this DLC?
Question 3: Is having zero support for your games standard policy now?
Question 4: How does it feel to treat your fans like **** and do you think that this is good customer relations?
Question 5: Do you think that people who buy your games are human beings or just bank accounts waiting to be ripped off?
+1 What this guy said.
I do not want to reward bad behavior, so i'm not getting this DLC.
I will do what i can to avoid Bioware games until their attitute shifts with respect to support.
Your like a misbehaving child Bioware. In need of a bit of tough love. This is gonna hurt me more than it hurts you, but its for your own good - you know it, i know it, so shape up.
Start by firing the greedy executive at the top whose destroying your potential franchise in hopes of a quick promotion. Or by replacing those D-rate patch programmers with people that don't take six months to figure out how to solve some simple bugs.
decided to stop buying bioware games after awakening....a lot of time since my last visit here and...i'm really not interested in the last bioware hach n'slash
Dont't want to think at the mess they are doing with dragon age 2
This.

oooohhh, do not start people, how you dare to "whine, moan, f***ing about, cry, shout out" against EA/BW diva since the statement that fixing is a favour and they are not obligated to fix a defective product, how you dare, bunch of whiners... but EA/BW, it is true, ignoring us, shall give you a bad name and a diva attitude, shall make it worse... I would ask for some decency, but that is beyond the EULA...Bratt1204 wrote...

Oh, come on! You've already taken over one DLC thread with this. Have the grace not to spam all of them!
Spam definition , please have the grace to understand what spam means.... I just reinforced what has been pointed out by the referred posters... as I read, there are about 30 threats that are not "spammed" by me...

I play on the PC platform and no - it's not themost bugged game nor the worst customer service. Sure I'd like the bugs worked out but I've been very fortunate indeed. I haven't experienced most of the bugs listed. The ones I have dealt with aren't game breakers for me.Taiko Roshi wrote...

IMHO Dragon Age is the best game I've ever played. I enjoy all of it because it's obvious to me that a lot of time and effort went into the storyline, characters, etc. That said, I will be part of the darkspawn at least once - so I can kill Morrigan, reload and do it againMan that sounds like a great hour! Seems to me OP become totally immersed which is certainly their perogative. I personally would have preferred DLC furthering our PC or companion stories but I will support this DLC also. By nature I am compelled to make all my decisions based on the Golden Rule, finding it all but impossible to play an evil character. I will, how ever abhorent it may be to me; kill my beloved companions. Bottom line - it's a GAME.
BioWare - you have my support and kudos for a great GAME so I may entertain myself
Don't you mean the most bugged game with the worst customer support in recorded history?

I guess this DLC shows how much BioWare cares about the original companions. No wonder they were tossed aside in Awakenings...If our fans demonstrate particular support for one type of content over another, however, we'll obviously do our best to provide more of that sort of content in the future.
Right. Give us a DLC with a hour long mission for each companion with dialog and conversation trees of the quality of the original game. Charge 560 pts and I will buy it day one.
I would pay more. If they wanted to make each DLC focus on a different companion, I'd support that, too. I'd buy each and every one of the, even for companions that I'm less fond of, just to support the making of that kind of DLC, and to gain more understanding of the characters.
This is also what I am looking for. More DLCs with companions, more dialogue, romance ... the things that I adore about Origins.
So no Darkspawn Chronicle for me.

And it still looks like flushing all the companions and characters down the toilet, since they're all incapable of succeeding without the main character.

Only if there's a completely overpowered Hurlock Vanguard that has intelligence and tactics remarkebly similar to the PC Warden gunning for themRussalka wrote...

why, after the RtO debacle on the PS3, would you not wait until all 3 platforms are ready to release this DLC?

Why should the rest of us have to wait just because Sony can't get it's collective sh** together?

This is actually a pretty good idea because it'd integrate into the main campaign and a post-game save pretty well.
If you did it mid-game you'd essentially be adding Mass Effect 2 style loyalty missions.
Giving a bonus item restricted to that character and a sizable boost to their approval (20-30ish) would be an easy way to make them worthwhile in a mid-game sense.
We obviously did have some personal quests in Dragon Age for companions, but most (all?) of them were simply single 5 minute conversations with, sometimes, one battle.
Let's see, there were 10 companions (including the secret one)...
You probably wouldn't need a loyalty mission for Dog
Shale already has a lengthy personal quest similar to this idea.
So you'd need 8 missions, I suppose. Toss 'em out for $10-15 and I'd snag it up.
Hopefully they will be bringing back the original companions for Dragon Age 2, so they could record voiceover for the bonus DA:O missions while recording for that anyway.

Thanks in advance.

I agree this would be uber cool. The only problem is they would have to get the same voice actors back and that can be hard and expensive.
