i would bet money that there will be no fixes or any kind of patch, with or without this DLC.
Can't see it happening. But I'm willing to bet that close to the DLC release date, and for a week after, a dev will visit us here and tell us that they are working on fixing the bugs...

Yup, as usual it'll be time for more empty promises so we'll buy the dlc assuming that fixes are on the way. You'd think that more people would've caught on to this pattern over the six months that it's been happening. If anything we'll get a patch that breaks the game without fixing anything like 1.03 did.

I wouldnt be suprised if they straight lie to us and tell us the patch is in the new DLC, but you have to buy the DLC to get the patch... i would seriously laugh out loud.

I'm sure EA would jump at the chance if they could do that, I mean they're already looking into charging people for demos. Amazing how they actually make money releasing such buggy games, I saw awakening at the store yesterday for $45.....I just laughed. Until people start refusing to keep shelling out money for broken games they will never change, I doubt I'll even have this buggy mess when/if a fix actually comes out, probably gonna trade it in for money towards Red Dead Redemption, at least Rockstar doesn't have as many bugs in their games.

not only does EA want to charge for demos, but they have clearly stated they plan on removing content from finished games and putting it up as DLC... including multiplayer game modes. It would be like buying halo, and havnt to pay for and download the muliplayer aspect to the game. what a crock.

They do enough of that sh*t already, what bugs me even more is the bs excuse they use to justify this blatent money grab. They say it's because of piracy and to prevent people that download the game from getting the full game. In reality though it's just another money grab, since those who download the game can easily find the extra content for free, which makes their arguement completely baseless, and worse, it makes their paying customers have to pay even more to get the full game. I think that their approach to this will only increase people downloading the game instead of buying it just to spite them for being greedy. They are simply taking advantage of the people who mindlessly give them money for every little dlc without holding them acountable for the bugs that plague their games, it's really sad.

you know, i have never pirated a game in my life... though i do have an extra xbox 360 just sitting in the box, and a friend who mods them. i feel like i should mod that xbox, and only use it to play pirated EA games... i think it would make me feel better, like some small victory in beating them at thier own game.

I truly understand the thought but I doubt it really would make you feel any better. A better idea would be to go out and get Red Dead Redemption or some other hot new game and let Bioware/EA decide if they would like to do the right thing with Dragon Age or not.
That's what I'm doing, come here every other day or so to see if there is any news of a patch and then go play another companies fully functioning game (currently I am playing F.F.IV DS version and waiting for Red Dead Redemption).

Seems like the same thing happens every time, new dlc coming right away, devs come to the forum, same line about fixes, then silence till the next dlc or contest. I'm just glad that some good games are coming out in the next few weeks, maybe I can actually get some use from this game by trading it in towards a game that will actually work.
Enough is enough already, it's getting ridiculous seeing everything but fixes for this game.
