Is there a bug on xbox that stops lethality working with bows.

On another topic about an archer rogue, a couple of people posted that on Xbox cunning didn't add to damage on bows with lethality, that it was bugged on xbox and only worked on pc. I know that the crit bonus doesn't work, that's not the question, it's the conversion of cunning to str that lethality is meant to do.

I've only seen this posted once in this topic, but another poster agreed. So before levelling my archer rogue any further I wanted to know if this is actually true and if this bug exists and if I should go pure dex on my archer.

many thanks

dex is broken completely. it does not add to damage for bows or daggers.

I know it doesn't add damage for daggers, but I'd read that dex was unaffected for bows on all platforms and that this had been a mistaken assumption just after the game came out. Having read the many many posts on it, it seemed that dex and str contribute to bow damage and the bug was that shortbow should have been pure dex rather than the dex/str mix and that there was a bug on crossbows. But from what I've read longbows work as intended for dex.

It would be nice to have this clarified once and for all rather than a mix of posts saying dex is broken/no dex is ok ... don't use cunning and lethality/use cunning and lethality. It seems like bioware are not going to be releasing a patch any time soon, so making the best of these broken attributes seems to be the only way to go, but to do that I need to know how they're broken.... sigh.

My last character was a STR based rogue/duelist/assassin , I used swords and daggers. It seemed to me that yes, lethality is broken because adding more points to CUN, the backstab difference with no CUN was little, i.e. STR: 20 and CUN:22, backstab around 80-90, with CUN:30 around 90-100, but STR:28 it's around 100-110, these are approximated figures, of course, but it seems lethality did not make such a big difference. This is on the melee side.

As for an archer, I'm not sure, perhaps there's a different mechanics...

Yeah I tried a backstabbing rogue and found the damage very lacking with cunning and lethality using two daggers. Levelling cunning seemed to increase the damage minimally, I didn't try str as I was only raising that enough to wear the best armor. But I figured I was doing something wrong as other people have said that cunning rogues with daggers work well on consoles. Archers however.... there are so many mixed messages.

Don't know really on archers, so far the STR based characters are the only ones that works for me... or a pure mage, but since I like melee that's not an option. I played an AW and I loved it, but since DEX is utterly broken, playing Awakenings become a very frustrating experience, since DEX is the only attribute you've got to increase your hit rate... the bloody enemies never missed and my AW was having a very hard time hitting them...

so no one really knows what these bugs are on the 360 apart from the dagger dex one?
