Nope, I won't. Equipment isn't content in my eyes.

A poll to go with a poll, for those who bought the DLC.

I didn't buy it.  I won't buy it.  I thought people had learned their lesson about this kind of "content" back with Bethesda and their legendary "horse armor".

I purchased it, but I was disappointed by it. If it had more equipment options besides two helmets and an unappealing armor (without a removable helmet, I might add) I would have been happier with it.

I would encourage BioWare to continue to provide stuff like this, but please, in the future try to give us more options. It would also be cool to have an Alternate Appearance pack in conjunction with this that would allow the squad members to wear real armor/pressure suits.

I bought it too, even though I've already got the Inferno armor, because I looooooove ME2 DLC! That reminds me; I never actually got Kasumi or whatever her name is...

I doubt I'll buy the new DAge DLC due out this month, but if I did, I've still got enough points. Huzzah for having enough points! Heh.

They needed to have more armor options. This would have been a perfect opportunity for them to provide all of the ME1 armor for Shepard: Predator, Collossus, Phoenix, Onyx, etc. Seriously, how easy would that have been? And how easy would it be to do alternate appearance packs for Samara, Miranda, Jacob, Kasumi and Zaeed with real armor? They're all standard human body wireframes. They would just need to bump out the bustlines for Miranda and Samara.

The Kasumi DLC is really good, you should get it. Probably the best DLC to date. Not because of Kasumi herself, although she is pretty decent, but because her loyalty mission is really cool.

You know what's funny, it's that EA's Customer Support Reps were handing out free Armor codes for Collector, Inferno, Blood Dragon, and Terminus.  They also gave out the Incisor Rifle codes, which is why they ran out of those codes so damn fast.

Numero Dos. I am not paying for 2 useless helmets and a armour set. I am happy with my N7 armour and i hardly use my Dragon or Cerberus armour.

Lol, sorry. It seems I've actually answered your poll, and I have no memory of doing that.

Interestingly, in your poll, 24% are buying it, 63% are not, 13% are undecided.
While in my poll, 40% are buying it, 60% are not.

Either our sample sizes aren't large enough to provide accurate estimates, or all of those who are undecided in your poll chose the first option in my poll.
I'll link your poll to my OP, if you don't mind :wizard:

Probably at some point, but not right now: I've got only 860 space bucks left and I don't feel like being a hundred short when some awesome 800 MSP Arcade game or add-on appears.

Alternatively, if the Overlord: Raising Hell or F.E.A.R. 2: Reborn DLC's would have their prices lowered to 400 MSP, I'd probably buy those.

Edit: According to Major Nelson, Monkey Island will be 400 MSP in the week following May 17, sounds like a good deal to me.

I'm still setting up new saves and the headset that reduces power recharge times is useful to me. So I bought it. That being said I'm rather pleased about all the discussion there has been regarding this issue. I've learned a lot about economics and the DLC business in general. lol

I paid for the squadmate appearance pack because I wanted Garrus's armor fixed that much. I paid for Kasumi because I didn't want to not have the last squadmate. Was that really worth the $9 that Bioware got out of me? I'd say absolutely not, but then why did I pay for them?

Because I'm a sucker.

I'd probably pay for them all over again even knowing exactly what sort of value they truly gave me. I felt the value was half of $9, but obviously what I feel and what I do are two separate concepts.

Anyway, every time I see a DLC like this, my skin crawls and my eye twitches, but I know someone out there is paying for it. So long as they do, why wouldn't Bioware keep putting them out?

DLC makes me grumpy.

Exactly, Bioware knows that there are enough people here and even more people who don't use forums (lets be fair, this forum is only a portion of the actual players) will buy gear because they're DLC ****s, or they can pocket an extra $20 to buy anything. Hell, I've bought everything so far because I feel like collecting DLC for this game, even when I never use the majority of it and I don't like using Kasumi for anything besides an hour long quest and a bar.

1) Because I didn't have the inferno armor and well....2 new pieces thrown in there. Wish there was more in the pack though but, I'm still satisfied.
