Sorry for the plea in the title, but I need to establish whether my GPU is dying out on me or not. I know DA has its fair share of graphical hickups. Whenever I swivel the camera and often times in dialog areas of color or of a certain texture will flicker once very quickly either white or a solid color, often neon green.

Do other people experience this, or is mty PS3 on its last legs?

And if it is the case that I will need to buy a new PS3- UNLOCK THE DAMN SAVE FILES BIOWARE!!!

I don't think I've ever really noticed that, sorry.

Hmm. Maybe I should try reinstalling the game data? If I were to do that though I would wait until a patch is released. I can't even play it right now anyway.

How do you feel about opening up your PS3 and doing some cleaning? Dust removal and new heat transfer compound where applicable.

I used to get that. I'd swivel the camera around and it'd flicker black. It's since stopped on its own and I haven't experienced any negative side effects from its occurrence.

I've noticed it since firmware 3.30. I assumed it was a byproduct as the update has caused freezing issues with bioware.

Other games i've tried have no graphical glitches(well, fallout 3 has always had them too). I think your ps3 is fine. Just try a few other games.

Thanks for the replies and reassurance. At first I thought it might have been a graphical glitch caused by the 3.30 update, but i started to see it in other games. I did a restore of the harddrive (it said it was corrupted) and that stopped the glitch in all the other games but this one, and some people told me the GPU was crapping out on me. I feel a little more confident now. Now hopefully Bioware will fix the freezing soon and I can get back to enjoying my game.

Forgot to say that the screen flicker happened before 3.30 and fixed itself before 3.30.
