But you did spoil (for those unaware) the next piece of film-based proof for the Avengers movie *and* the Thor movie, which not everyone knows about.
Well done.

Seriously, not that bid a deal...if there is a comic out there, they'll probably make a movie about it...i mean, they're even re-making a few - Superman, or Spiderman or something, right?

I do not get how they got from a rather intelligent human being (Alright, a freakin' genius) that through engineering became a struggling super hero to... an immortal Asgard god, however.
I love most of Marvel's heroes, but I never understood Thor. Perhaps the movie will change my mind.
(Also, as for the movie... I loved the little connections they made to the Marvel universe; e.g Captain America's shield. Funny, yet suitable

The Hulk is a scientist that got his powers through science.
Iron Man is an engineer that got his powers through technology.
Thor is an immortal creature that got his power by being a god. Now if he had Thor as his title and he was some sort of freak accident that occurred after a nuclear waste dump, sure.

Well, the reason I don't follow him is not because I question his power but because he is basically an immortal asgard god. Which would mean gods exist in the Marvel universe, which I think is a little far fetched (And yes, I think THAT is far fetched. Not aliens coming from different dimensions and such)

That got me researching a little bit, and I found this: http://marvel.com/un...e/Category:Gods Pretty weird, Gods from all over various mythologys exist in the Marvel 'verse.

Yeah... I do find mythology fascinating, I still think it's somewhat silly that they have actual gods in there. Especially since I always found most Marvel things I've seen/read/whatnot quite realistic and... to me Gods are not. (unless it's like Too Human or some such

Maybe they're just like... immortal superheroes no different from the ones in the current time, but because they existed before any sort of scientific explanation they were worshipped as gods. *shrug*

Well i dont think even with all the technological advance's in film making silver can be pulled off they tried it here in 94 for a tech demo for Terminator 2 and here we have a more recent incarnation in the travesty that was Fantastic Four 2 not much difference except they both fail ....

Naw, they're pretty much the literal gods. Like, they chill in Asgard and Mount Olympus and everything. They're usually powered by magic, whereas the Hulk or Iron Man would be powered by science. The DCU gets even worse, when you have Wonder Woman (blessed by and interacts with the Greek pantheon) and the Spectre (the Old Testament-style Spirit of Wrath who interacts with God and Lucifer) rubbing elbows. Basically, all myths are true and exist at the same time. And don't think about it too hard, the writers sure didn't.Kordras wrote...

by the myth you can only touch mjollnir when you have thors gauntlets, and is powerfull enough to level a moutain. ironmans suit is tough, but mjollnir is the most powerfull weapon in human mithology, with its only drawback being its to short handle.
