I can just imagine the other party members wanting to just quickly walk to the Urn and hope the dragon didn't decide to attack while my character wanted to fight a giant dragon and rang the gong. The rest of the party got pissed and refused to get involved until she got horribly injured but she managed to take it down instead.



And I'm glad Loghain got the dragon-killing practice in for when he has to face the Archdemon.

Every time I kill that thing, it's followed by this short period of intense silence, then a deep breath, then 'there was much rejoicing.' I usually like to take the final blow myself, but if you mage Wynne an Arcane Warrior and give her Spellweaver, let her take the final blow. It results in awesomeness. I always imagine Zevran seeing that and double-thinking the magical bosom cracks. ;P

Flemeth was more easy from the sacred ashes dragon

I usually do the ashes quite early so I either have to turn down the difficulty or leave the dragon for now and come back later to kill it.

So you offered her a smoke after you killed her? Kinda reminds me of those guys who put deer heads on the wall and then decorate them like they have been to Mardi Gras with hats, cigarettes, beads.  Even get the feet to hold the gun that knocked them down on their ass.

I have never killed Flemeth It would kinda kill the feeling of awesomeness I get from taking down the High Dragon...maybe if BW patches the game and Morrigan starts responding badly to you cutting a deal with the old woman then I will do it. But in the meantime ...

Edit: Damn completely misread the thread... Anyway i felt happy cause as a noob beating the ashes dragon at level 10 i felt like i owned the world. But alistar got the finishing blow! but now i always get it!

Surprise, relief and great satifsaction. I first thought my pc had been grabbed - again - then realized I had struck the killing blow and was "riding the dragon." And it was then or never as Sten and Alistair were down and Wynne was a long way from being able to do another revive. Not the best group for the task, as I learned, but it was exciting.
