In all seriousness, it was a pretty good feeling in my first game, but Flemmeth is definitely a tougher fight.

I mean, the dragon was just sleeping, SLEEPING (and looked creepily adorable in doing so), on that rock without posing a direct threat to your party. Of course, given that the battle with the High Dragon is one of the most exciting ones in the game there was no way I was gonna miss it, but I did feel like a jerk for disturbing the beast, not to mention that my party must have been pretty pissed of at me.... I wouldn't have blamed them if they had left me alone for that battle.
While we're at it, I did feel that Flemeth was a tougher fight, but that may have been due to the level at which my character was when I confronted her. It's too bad that Flemeth gets nerfed in level due to her area being unlocked so early in the game (I think she'll go as high as level 15, unless you fight her after the Landsmeet in which case she'll go up to Level 22).

I don't know. All you do is bang a gong or blow a horn and suddenly it comes out of nowhere and attacks you. Surely waking it up doesn't deserve a death sentence?I mean, the dragon was just sleeping, SLEEPING (and looked creepily adorable in doing so), on that rock without posing a direct threat to your party.

But maybe being soaked in the blood of her children does.

How could she possibly know that? You don't have to be covered with their blood (you could have a party of long-range attackers, for instance) and she can't see that her children are dead since you killed them inside and she's outsidKnightofPhoenix wrote...

So you offered her a smoke after you killed her? Kinda reminds me of those guys who put deer heads on the wall and then decorate them like they have been to Mardi Gras with hats, cigarettes, beads. Even get the feet to hold the gun that knocked them down on their ass.exterminator wrote...

I felt dissappointed because Flemeth was tougher.
Mate are you sure ?
Flemeth was more easy from the sacred ashes dragon
Ehh, not really because I had no idea Flemeth would become a dragon. I went there at a low level, no Wynne, and Alistair w/o shield wall...
When I fought the false Andraste, I was actually prepared, and at a high level.

However, that rather quickly moved to, and then to <_<, because I was fully expecting to get some treasure out of it, and IIRC, it took a little while for the dragon corpse to go all sparkly, the way they do when there's something shiny to pick up.

Naturally, I denied all knowledge of the killings in some neaby village they referred to as "Haven", which I'd never heard of before in my life (

The good constables could only agree with me, so after they went all, I was all polite and

And so I quit the field of conquest, ultimately feeling remarkably, with just a hint of

I don't think you used enough smilies in that post
Anyway, my first reaction was "IN YO F*****G FACE YOU F******G LIZARD!!!". The fact that I got to ride it while I killed it was even more awesome, and the epic loot multiplied the general awesomeness by about 1337. All in all, that was probably the coolest fight in the game (the Archdemon is pretty easy when you have golems and the Ballistas).

Seemed that way for single elite bosses for me for the whole game. Flemeth, the High Dragon, the Arch Demon - I'm usually good at those fights.
Now whenever I got jumped by a combination of an Ancient Darkspawn, 6 regular spiders and a Glenlock Emissary or something like that I seemed to have trouble my first time through.
That Broodmother encounter stomped me until I understood it. Tentacles and then darkspawn running in at 33% intervals.
Those elite group fights were very satisfying for me once I understood them and smashed them.
(edited for failure to type legibly - I should go to bed).

Side note: I do think dragons are smarter than your average animal, maybe on the level of a mabari, due to the existence and non-eatingness of dragon cults.

Okay, for all the people who feel bad about killing the high dragon, you do realize that it's not some cute little puppy, right? It's a DRAGON. And if you don't kill it, it will eventually go on a rampage, which causes so much death and destruction that the wiki says it's like a class 5 hurricane. It's not a person. It's a carnivorous animal, whose diet happens to naturally include humans.

Considering most of the humans she ate probably attacked her first, I wouldn't blame her.
