Also,
I come with BANNERS! Actually, only one. Feel free to use.
Haha, that's awesome! I support this

Hm. An entire collapsible armor set would be cool, not just the helmet.
Improbable, but cool.

So I had this idea the other day, we all know the problem everyone is having with helmets.
So
instead of reintroducing the "toggle helmet" button, why not integrate
it with the story and gameplay.
Collapsible helmets. The weapons
do it, why not the helmets too. When Shepard is not in combat the helmet
collapses, when he is it fully forms around his head.
I've included a couple of sketches to futher convey my idea.

Great idea actually....However, to "refine" it a bit (if the idea hasnt been stated already) make it so that the helmet comes up when your weapon is drawn, and retracts when you put your weapons away. Otherwise, if you go with a general "in combat" and "out of combat" idea, you're going to be seeing your helm pop up, and pop down ALOT during a mission lol. Im sure this has already been stated by someone (sorry, didnt read every post up to here) but just in case, that's my take on it. Great idea in general though. Probably wont see it integrated into ME2 but would love to see it in ME3

I think it would actually be better if each area had a default setting for whether the helmet is 'on' or not. And if you want to change it, you can do so in the squad/inventory screen or whatever. There are so many instances where you draw your weapon or holster it, that it might get a bit too much attention.

Still no response from Bioware? Come on, this is a great idea. Would love to hear a dev's opinion.
what he said.

Bioware isn't obligated to spend their resources hacking apart the games they made to suit the way YOU think things should be. If you absolutely can't stand it, when mod the game yourself.

They don't have the resources to mod a helmet toggle.TheTWF wrote...
There is no "problem". The helmets are part of the artstyle of the sets, they've explained this several times now.

Also, BS. I could understand maybe on the Collector armour, but all the others have a look that could be placed in components including a helmet toggle.
I'd be fine having Inferno or Cerberus armour on with no helmet, personally.

Who said anyone was obligated to do anything? I'm merely presenting an idea. Creative control may lie with the developer, but WE the community primarily enjoy the fruits of their labor. If there's something we feel could make the game better or add to the overall experience, we're damn well going to voice our opinion about it. It's clearly too late for ME2 and I was never expecting Bioware to do anything about this in said game, however implimenting this in ME3 isn't outside the realm of possibility.
Besides, I don't know how to mod anything...I'm an artist not a programmer.

Only instead of Issac's face they should splice in Shepard's.

Nah, too much work... Just shrink it down to sig size and slap a "I support collapsible helmets for ME3" on there and you're done.

WHY DON'T THEY JUST HAVE THE ENTIRE ARMOR COLLAPISIBLE LIKE WITH TONY STARKS IRON MAN SUIT IN IRON MAN 2
Um... Because then Shepard would be stark naked each time he entered a conversation?
