i purchased a digital distribution copy of dragon age origins and with it came a redeem code for stone prisoner and blood dragon armor. my problem is that i installed the patch to v 1.01 before i ran the game and now it seems the dlc's wont even download, do i have to uninstall and reinstall? that would be a major pain and im hoping i can just roll back to version 1 and install them then go back to the patched version. if anyone can offer any help it would be great, as the configuration utiliy simply tells me that i have v 1.01 not that i can roll it back.

i have also noticed that the configuration utility only recognizes 2 of my 4 cores on my computer, which is bothersome to say the least...any ideas?

sorry to say, I can't help...because I have the same problem. The DLC installation and what you say about patch 1.01 is really lame news to me. Anyway, I wrote EA and email and await my stone prisoner sometime.
I would guess you got it from Steam?

hey I just got it to work. You can manually download all of the DLCs and then run the daupdater.exe found in the ..\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\dragon age origins\\bin_ship directory - or something similar. Then browse your pc for the downloaded DLCs and install them with this daupdater.
Just opened my game and everything is installed! thanks for the DLC troubleshooting thread!!!!!
