I am a Paragon Shepard.
My color is blue.
My actions and associates mark my character.

I am a Spectre who likes to live on the edge.
I have cybernetic implants that greatly boost my power.
I have a councilor of my race who will defend my every action and cover on my behalf.
I have an army of Geth.
I have an army of Krogan.
I have an army of Rachni.
I have a cure for the genophage.
I hire mercenaries, thieves, and assasins to kill my enemies and rob people.
I have organic minions surgically and genetically modified for power.
I have a fleet who's numbers will darken the skies of entire planets.
I have killed fellow Spectres to advance my salvation of the galaxy.
I have an unshackled artificially intelligent flagship with the most advanced technology in the galaxy.
I have the power of an Asari matriarch at my command, one who's loyalty would see her kill imediate family for me.
I have an information broker of amazing resources and talent.
I change the minds and views of those in my presence, causing the most devoted loyalists to betray their former allies in my name.
I have a Council which will never agree with me on the necessary path to save the galaxdy.
My goal is the destruction of an entire race*.

I have a suspicion this all sounds awfully familiar.

Oh, and I killed 300,000,000** civilians, claiming it was necessary to save the galaxy or something. Minor detail.

**Hyperbole by a factor of a thousand for those who won't indulge in the humor.

I have an additional reason why I would stand trial: I am currently plotting an invasion of the citadel to assassinate the council and destroy the mega relay to dark space. :) I expect only a few million civilian casualties, and minimal resistance from the rent-a-cop CSEC.

I play paragade.

Oh shiz. That's hilarious. No wonder the Turian Councilor dismisses the Reapers. If he didn't, then Shepard would definitely be in trouble. But since the council doesn't believe in the Reapers, the claims that all of these advantages are dangerous are dismissed.

I think it's backwards, there ... all those advantages would be pointless if there weren't reapers to fight.
So Shep would just be loose cannon with some crazy shizniz.

At least with a gigantic threat out there, there's a claim to mitigating circumstances.

Wow, I never realized all the similarities a paragon Shepard had to Saren.

Shepard advances humanity through diplomacy or action. Neither I do not think would put Shepard in a "trial like" situation.

But I would be all for it if it was EXACTLY like the trial in Chrono Trigger

If Shepherd goes to trial, all he has to do is show them a copy of the Reaper IFF and demonstrate it on one of their ships, and personally show the debris field and the wreckage of all those ships and the Collector Station, and he will be exonerated.

Probably BioWare will spin this another way where it won't mean jack like Vigil. Or even Ilos in general.

EDIT: And he had a picture of Harbinger!  If the Council won't take that as proof Shepherd should just say "Screw this" and find a nice dark place of the galaxy to hide.

I meant as a plot-hole kind of thing. If the Council took the Reapers seriously, but only believe in Sovereign and Saren, then they'd think Shepard actually did become indoctrinated and was following in Saren's footsteps. But, since they don't believe Sovereign was more than a Geth flagship, they don't see the dangers of Shep being a copycat of Saren... I don't think I'm explaining it well, but I have a massive headache. So. Thank God for advil.

Let me guess, the Turian Councellor will actually be Yakra the 536th?

The plot thickens...

Bodes well for Paragon Shep. Saren did a damn fine job of accomplishing his plans, with single notable exception, and he had to be secretive on top of that.

I am a Renegade Shepard.
My color is red.
My actions and associates mark my character.

I am not a Spectre anymore.
I have cybernetic implants that greatly boost my power.
I have a councilor of my race who will defend my every action and cover on my behalf.
I do not have an army of geth, I wiped the heretics out and killed Legion.
I do not have an army of krogan, I killed Wrex on Virmire and put Tuchanka in peril.
I do not have an army of rachni, I killed the Rachni Queen.
I destroyed the cure for the genophage. Twice.
I hired mercenaries, soldiers and assassins to assist me. And almost all of them died.
I had organic minions surgically and genetically modified for power. They died too.
I have a fleet consisting of one Cerberus ship and a Collector Base.
I have an unshackled AI flagship with the Reaper technology. I killed the rest of my crew.
I have the power of an Ardat-Yakshi at my command, one who's loyalty would result in killing me.
I have an information broker of amazing resources and talent, who I cheated on and fed her false information.
I changed my mind and views on a single glance, causing the most devoted loyalist of the Alliance (Shepard) to continue helping other shady organizations.
I have an Udina-led human Council, which will never agree with me (ever) and will probably drive the Citadel into ruin.

My goal is the destruction of the entire galaxy.

Who am I?

...A lot of those aren't actually renegade choices. (or in the case of Wrex, not the only renegade choice.)

Also, he does have an army of geth: wiping out the heretics kills the Heretics, but you still earned Legion's loyalty and got the True Geth majority. The only way to not have an army of Geth is not do Legion's loyalty quest.

With the Collector Base, Cerberus and the Alliance actually will have a much better fleet. For a 'screw the galaxy' playthrough, destroying the base is better.

Ardat-Yakshi won't kill you unless you ask her to, and she'll get progressively stronger with time. Samara, on the other hand, will leave you after the mission no matter what, and will actively try and kill you if you're a Renegade.

Especially with keeping the Collector Base, a Human dominated council is probably the best-prepared Council to face the Reapers (since the entire Council will benefit from the Collector base). Saving the Destiny Ascension and destroying the base are probably the best ways to weaken the galaxy: if you save the Destiny Ascension, there is no major buildup of fleets, the Asari still putter along with a fleet focused on one inferior ship.
