I am a Paragon Shepard.

I am a Spectre.
I have cybernetic implants that greatly boost my power.
I have a councilor of my race who will defend my every action and cover on my behalf.
I have an army of Geth.
I have an army of Krogan.
I have an army of Rachni.
I have a cure for the genophage.
I hire mercenaries, thieves, and assasins to kill my enemies and rob people.
I have organic minions surgically and genetically modified for power.
I have a fleet who's numbers will darken the skies of entire planets.
I have an unshackled artificially intelligent flagship with the most advanced technology in the galaxy.
I have the power of an Asari matriarch at my command, one who's loyalty would see her kill imediate family for me.
I have an information broker of amazing resources and talent.
I change the minds and views of those in my presence, causing the most devoted loyalists to betray their former allies in my name.
I have a Council which will never agree with me on the necessary path to save the galaxdy.
My goal is the destruction of an entire race*.

I have a suspicion this all sounds awfully familiar.

To put it that way is quite.... interesting.
I can see, paragon interrupt in ME3: Take over Galaxy.
Although Shep is too "paragon" to do that.

Too Paragon to take over from possibly indoctrinated leaders?

Is there such a thing?

Doubt it. Saving the base should be the "right" choice (It should help in the fight against the reapers). Also the reapers never intented other races to find the collector base. Only the mass relays and the citidal.

Sovereign was refering to the Mass Relays and the Citadel, he wasn't trying to make a metaphor about technology. The Reaper trap was not complicated. When he said "paths" he was speaking literally.

Sovereign used the mass relays and citadel as the obvious examples as they were already known by the galactic civilizations and (occ) the collector base probably wasn't invented at that time (/occ)

Basing any technology upon the abomination the collectors are / were is an atrocity that should be avoided.

Cerberus has the IFF, and if you die but save the base TIM has salvage ships move in around the base. If you were to save the base but try to give the base to the Council, TIM could/would swoop in and take the tech before you could get there and back after however long it took to convince the Council and organize a recovery operation that would have to go deep in the Terminus systems (if they would do so at all: remember Ilos).

Imagine if Cerberus would be able to change the IFF to a new one (since that is mostly controlled from the base alone). Then that base would be the best stronghold in the entire galaxy.

Saren and Shepard both start with the same letter! OMG! THEORY CONFIRMED.

More over, they both have an a, r, and e!

Coincidence?

Saren is Turian for "one who leads domesticated herd animals!"

The trail idea is actually a very likely scenario for the ME3's beginning. No, it will not be exclusive to Paragons but rather be a "You worked with Cerberus; time to persecute you"- sort of thing.

Epic win.

It's also funny watching some people get their panties in a knot over a joke post. I'd say sucessful troll is sucessful but "troll" is not really the right word in this case.

Shepard advances humanity through diplomacy or action. Neither I do not think would put Shepard in a "trial like" situation.

But I would be all for it if it was EXACTLY like the trial in Chrono Trigger

I played the heck out of that game when I was a kid.

And here's the scene for those of you who missed out on the game:

You poorly characterize a lot of those statements, the fact is that it's actually "we", not "I" as paragons don't presume to speak for anyone but themselves.  Renegades have the arrogance to speak for "humanity" as though all of humanity shared Sheppy's views.  I think renegades are like people who think of war romantically... like when they think "Napolean" they think brilliant military, medals, glory, blah blah, and not shattered families, total social upheaval, mass murder, disease, famine...

Since I am not a hive mind, nor have I become royalty, 'I' is the correct form of address for an individual referring to themselves. 'We' would be speaking for people other than myself, whereas 'I' clearly differentiates that I speak for myself.

Dean please answer me at one question.

If Paragons are so huge galactic evil then how you will name those who let people in refinery during Zaeed L-mission to burn down alive because for them more important was to kill petty leader of the mercenary group than save those peoples?

You don't understand sarcasm or satire at all, do you?
It's not that Paragons actually ARE a huge threat- it's simply that they pretty much do the same thing Saren did. Saren helped to save the Krogan from the Genophage. That easily compares. It's just an amusing little tidbit how much alike Saren's and Shepard's goals are.

Oh hush, you spoil sport you. Ignorant people are ignorant, and it's more amusing to let them stay that way.

Two things:

First: This thread seems to have hit a soft spot with a lot of people.

Second: Where is that picture of Saren saying "It is the only logical conclusion"?

First: I can't imagine why people would be so defensive unless they have something they'd rather not admit.

Second: There is such a thing? Maybe it will emphasize Saren's blue eyes...

Go for the last one. It sounds the most pompous.
