You can't handle the truth! Son, we live in a world that has walls. And those walls have to be guarded by men with guns. Who's gonna do it? You? That turian councilor? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Jenkins and you curse the Marines. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know: that Jenkin's death, while tragic, probably saved lives. And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives...You don't want the truth. Because deep down, in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that wall. You need me on that wall.
We use words like honor, code, loyalty...we use these words as the backbone to a life spent defending something. You use 'em as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide, then questions the manner in which I provide it! I'd rather you just said thank you and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon and stand a post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you're entitled to!

I am a Renegade Shepard.
My color is red.
My actions and associates mark my character.
I am not a Spectre anymore.
I have cybernetic implants that greatly boost my power.
I have a councilor of my race who will defend my every action and cover on my behalf.
I do not have an army of geth, I wiped the heretics out and killed Legion.
I do not have an army of krogan, I killed Wrex on Virmire and put Tuchanka in peril.
I do not have an army of rachni, I killed the Rachni Queen.
I destroyed the cure for the genophage. Twice.
I hired mercenaries, soldiers and assassins to assist me. And almost all of them died.
I had organic minions surgically and genetically modified for power. They died too.
I have a fleet consisting of one Cerberus ship and a Collector Base.
I have an unshackled AI flagship with the Reaper technology. I killed the rest of my crew.
I have the power of an Ardat-Yakshi at my command, one who's loyalty would result in killing me.
I have an information broker of amazing resources and talent, who I cheated on and fed her false information.
I changed my mind and views on a single glance, causing the most devoted loyalist of the Alliance (Shepard) to continue helping other shady organizations.
I have an Udina-led human Council, which will never agree with me (ever) and will probably drive the Citadel into ruin.
My goal is the destruction of the entire galaxy.
Who am I?
Shandepared.

In any case, I have Mordin wipe Maelon's data drive and make sure to keep him alive. Extra insurance so if it turns out to be necessary to cure the genophage, that data can be used again.

How stupid can you be? "I have an army" is taking singular ownership of a whole breadth of people's "we have an army" is distributing responsibility and credit unto the parties involved.

I am the person collecting allies for this purpose, I am the one going out and creating these ties, and I am the one who will lead this alliance. I speak for myself when I say I have allies at my disposal: I do not speak for the Krogan, who follow me but do not lead the rest. I do not speak for the Quarians, who will rally behind me but will not lead the rest. I do not speak for the Geth, who are loyal to me but do will not lead. I do not speak for Cerberus, if I brought them to heel, and who will not lead. I do not speak for my squad, each of whom is subordinate to me. Saying we would indicate that they too all have access to what I have, and they do not.DuffyMJ wrote...

I is the correct form of address for the commander of the forces. I have a Platoon. I lead a Nation. We is only applied when multiple leadership is enacted or from a position of subordination, neither of which is the case.

He's got you there. When was the last time Obama or Bush announced his decisions on behalf of the nation by saying "we"?

While it may be the grammatically-correct form of address, semantics dictates that a paragon will inevitably refer to the forces he/she is gathering to fight the coming threat in the plural. It shows that the person (Shepard) is not an egotist, that he/she isn't doing this for their own advancement, and that while he/she may be the rallying point, he/she is not necessarily the commander of the anti-Reaper front in the sense that Marshal Zhukov was in command of the First Belarussian Front in April of 1945.
But that's just one fellow's opinion.

I am a Spectre
So, since when was this grounds for trial?
I have cybernetic implants that greatly boost my power
So, since when was this grounds for trial?
I have a councilor of my race who will defend my every action and cover on my behalf.
True, but each race on the council has the same.
I have an army of Geth
No. I don't. I potentially have the alliance of the Geth through an ally.
I have an army of Krogan
No. I don't. I potentially have the alliance of the Krogan through a friend.
I have an army of Rachni
No, I don't. The rachni exist and have supposedly given their support to help against the Reapers. Nothing more. I don't even know where they are.
I have a cure for the genophage
True. But last time I looked, that's not illegal.
I hire mercenaries, thieves, and assasins to kill my enemies and rob people
I did? When? If you're talking about Zaeed, Thane and Kasumi... I didn't hire them - Cerberus did.
I have organic minions surgically and genetically modified for power
That applies to most soldiers in the galaxy.
I have a fleet whose numbers will darken the skies of entire planets
No, I don't. Humans don't have that many ships, and I certainly don't have the guaranteed support of the Quarians.
I have an unshackled artificially intelligent flagship with the most advanced technology in the galaxy
True. This is fairly serious, but technically, Joker is the one that let her off the leash. Of course, paragon Shepard will wear the blame for him and the ship will be destroyed. Again.
I have the power of an Asari matriarch at my command, one who's loyalty would see her kill imediate family for me:
She killed her immediate family for herself, not for me. And I exactly what I have her loyalty for is unclear - whether it was destroying the collectors or the Reapers was never made clear.
I have an information broker of amazing resources and talent:
Liara is my friend so that makes me a bad person? Besides, most politicians use the Shadow Broker...
I change the minds and views of those in my presence, causing the most devoted loyalists to betray their former allies in my name:
True (Miranda), but she didn't take much convincing.
I have a Council which will never agree with me on the necessary path to save the galaxy:
When did the council disagree with Saren? The council and I disagreed in Mass Effect 1, I broke the rules but saved the day. All was forgiven. In Mass Effect 2 they disown me because I'm associated with Cerberus. They won't publicly support me, but they don't oppose me. People have differing opinions all the time.
My goal is the destruction of an entire race (the Reapers)
Saren never actually tried to kill any race. And I'm not sure that destroying a race attempting to destroy or enslave every other living being in the galaxy is a bad thing.
No, I don't know why I bothered either.

To be fair, Paragons will earn the suspicion of the Council on account of their building an army where-as Renegades will earn their ire for supporting a terrorist organization.

A pity. You could learn a thing or two from those other so-called pseudo-intellectuals on earlier pages who understood the humor and laughed, rather than repeat trite cliches in place of wit.
