when do we get a cure for the genophage? if you finish mordin's loyalty you can convince him to start working on one, but that's as far as you get... right? as for grunt he isn't a cure for the genophage, just a krogan that's stronger than the rest. what am i missing here?

That was a no win situation regardless of Paragon/Renegade choice.  At least Paragons will accept responibility for the action.

Even when the Reapers are proven to be real, the Hegemony will still want someone to pay for the deaths of over 300 millions Batarian. The Alliance, in order to avoid a war with them, will throw Shepard to the wolves.

I don't see the point all this. yes you blow up worlds, you had little time to react. you trying to warn them but the communication was block. do you let the reapers in to kill more people then what you are about to do. the answer to that is NO. if giving the choices again i will go with paragon always. you don't think about your need first but other come first.

The point is that the (inadvertent?) parallels are funny and good for a laugh, as it's all things that could more or less be easily used against Shepard at a trial.

It was 300,000 actually... I remember it being a specific number cause estimations paint global warming to claim that many lives and year and it was a amount stated of people dying during the Rape of Nanking which took place in 1937 when Japanese Imperial Army invaded the China's capital city.

Don't forget that Shepard worked for Cerberus too. I mean someone who works for a human supremacy organisation and then kills tens of thousands of Batarian civilians in what looks like a terrorist attack is not going to look good when he/she is put on trial.

I just felt somthing inside of me die.

Sure, Tali's trial in ME2 was interesting, I would even go so far to say that it was one of the best Loyalty missions but I don't want to go through that again especially if it's Shepard who's on trial in ME3. I feel as if I should be doing more important things in ME3 then trying to justify my Shepards actions ( over the last  2 games ) and trying to convince them of the Reaper threat ( which they won't believe ).

You know it does kind of make sense paragon shepard is an alternate universe version of saren doing the same stuff in a different way
