What about a dlc where the guy from the legend of the sacred ashes trailer comes telling that Grey wardens are being hunted by a mysterious foe wearing a black and silver armor.

How about we get a DLC pack where all you get to see your romanceable. They cut out those goddamned letters. It's not fair.

How about DLC that lets you explore more in-depth the Architect's plans and methods, and the nature of the awakened Disciples? That certainly is full of possibility.

Agreed with this one, the Architect and the things added in Awakening finally made the darkspawn interesting,  but instead of expanding upon this newfound intricacy and depth they decide it's best to let us hack 'n' slash away at ourselves with the same old mindless plague beasts we knew in the vanilla campaign.  /endrant

Anywho, what I mean by that is I'd really like to see a darkspawn DLC that places you in control of one of the first darkspawn the Architect awakened, letting you see more of his origin. Possibly culminating in the release of the archdemon.

City of Gwaren DLC
Main quest would be you making some sort of major trouble for Loghain at the home front and you could also do some sidequests around town.

I like this idea.

What about a DLC for Awakening in which you go to the Teyrnir of Highever and meet up with Teyrn Fergus Cousland (a unique moent for HN PCs), in which some darkspawn, are making their way towards Highever and you must defend the city, but at the same time pirates from the Free Marches are moving their fleet to sack the city, and only and old companion is moving to prevent their attack. There would be a chance to reunite with old companions like Alistair, Zevran and Leliana, even get the chance to recruit a new companion to put through the joining.

I actually wanna see a dlc with new weapons and gear... before the game gets too dry for a replay.

I always thought a good idea would be to help the dwarves retake the Dwarven Thaigs, this would allow further exploration of the Deep Roads, Perhaps access to specialist legion of the dead weaponry and armour and also allow us to find out about the darkspawn and more about Dwarven culture

It would make sense as it would help fight the darkspawn, it adds a new situation to the game so instead of doing stuff for your own needs you are benefiting a whole society and this could open up links with Kal-Hirol???

I too would like to see more expansions like Awakening only with a properly developed characters (that means go back to the old dialogue system from Origins). It's not that the characters from Awakening weren't interesting, it's just that they felt like they didn't really matter at all. I also found it impossible to get attached to them like I did with the characters in Origins.

I would have liked to see an origin story for the Orlesean Warden; not just the instant lvls. That may have made it worthwhile to select the default rather than import my DA:O Wardens.

A new origin is not beyond Bioware's capabilities. The current origins are all standalone quests prior to joining the 'common' thread of Ostagar. For other dialogue options, etc, there is Shale to use as a template and the non-noble options to use throughout the remainder of the game.

Hell, a modder made the Ser Gilmore NPC with more dialogue options than some of the NPCs included in-game.

That doesn´t mean a new origin story is NOT beyond BioWare´s capabilities. Many modders do better work with less bugs than BioWare, and if DAO-modders are anything like Modders in Oblivion were they will surely make better stories and gameplay too.

I'd like a Jowan DLC to be honest. But I think more mni adventures are a good idea. How about a nice Dalish one? Or a Qunari or werewolf themed download? Anything that furthers the word.

I think everyone would say yes to a Fade adventure.

I refute that, once or twice in the fade is fun but after that i just gets tiring.

Actually, for two reasons, probably not.

1) I think most people would be OK with a Fade adventure that was not a Fade-Maze like your trip in the tower. The tiresomeness of that maze on the 3rd or 4th playthrough is why the Skip-the-Fade mod exists. The trip to the Fade in Awakening was the right length, and lacking in maze elements.

2) you can't bring back loot from the Fade. It's a dream world. So there's nothing to bring back with you.

Although now Awakening has established that doing things in the Fade might help you GET loot in the physical world.

I would like to know why the Grey Wardens of the Anderfels were so inactive (dare I say, indifferent!) to the Ferelden threat.

Maybe a DLC geared for the character after the fall of the Archdemon but before Awakening -- where your Warden journeys north to find the Grewy Wardens of the Anderfels fighting overwhelming amounts of Darkspawn!

I support this. <3

Don't know why people hate the Fade so much!

Permanent attribute points aren't loot per se, but they aren't to be sneezed at either!!

That's a great idea.

Some origin specific DLC's wouldn't be bad either. Return to Highever would be the obvious choice, but imagine some adventures as well set around returning to your Dalish Clan or the further adventures of city elf in the big city. (Doesn't even have to be Denerim- just think Lankhmar style adventures in the vein of Fafhred and the Gray Mouser.)

The only problem with class-specific, origin-specific, race-specific, or companion-centered DlC is their obvious possibility of alienating segments of their audience. (Some people have played all origins, races, and classes -- but I imagine many or most don't. And some will skip a DlC centered on a companion they hated -- or killed.)

There could be a DlC focused on maybe more interactions with the Dalish, but it would be foolish to limit it to PCs only of Dalish Origin. That said, they could write aspects into it that give it more "hooks" for a Dalish character. That would make sense.

- i would like to see an evil plot line

- where my character can be evil absolute and be surrounded by equal minded companions

- you can be evil now, but it seems to hinder the flow of the story line too much and closes off alot of avenues of play

- a specific story, i would like to see a renegade Blood Mage as the main character whose aim is nothing but chaos .. and the story is unique compared to the holding hands, happy shiny Grey Wardens saving the universe

- unlockables .. unlockable story lines, similar to the above mentioned

Well, they are already running into this problem with the upcoming DLC. A lot of people don't want to play 'hack and slash' or as a darkspawn. You can also argue that such a DLC provides replayability incentive. If you've never played a Dalish elf and a DLC comes along centered on the Dalish elf origin, it encourages someone to go back and play through again. Note that I said 'encourage', not 'force.' Nobody has to spend money they don't want to spend.

This is probably the optimum solution from a business standpoint, but from a player's standpoint it would be nice having an adventure that hearkens back to your origin.

The only think I AM sure of is that no matter what they come up with in the future for DLC, some people are going to b---h about it. :D

I really like where Nu-Nu's idea is going. I'd love to see DLC that adds more character/quest development with the character's we had. Just something to establish a greater bond with your party members.
