How do you guys think I should allocate my points for my infiltrator? This is going to be a traditional, Widow Infiltrator and the final build will look something like this:

Heavy disruptor
1 point in Cryo Ammo
Assassination Cloak
Incineration Blast
Assassin Passive
Tungsten Ammo

So what do you guys think I should max first? If you are a common poster here on the classes forum, I apoligize if all of my threads dedicated to peoples opinions on the various classes lately is annoying. Im starting up a bunch of playthroughs(This one being my Canon one) and Ive been looking for a variety of different opinions.

Anyway, Thanks

Edited for clarification on the difficulty level

I <3 incineration blast.

I get that first 'cos in the early game your guns make short work of your foes anyway ... and fireballing my enemies is teh lolz.

With the build you're going for, I'd max out Incineration first. It will have the most use for you in the first half of the game. I'd probably then go for Heavy Disruptor next, definitely before you get Tali anyway. You'll see the most benefit from Assassination Cloak/Assassin Passive after you've got the Widow, which could be anywhere from 2/3rds to 3/4ths of your way through the game.

Also, if you're going for an ammo bonus power, I'd recommend Warp Ammo because cutting through barriers is the Infiltrator's weakness. Unless you're like me and prefer not to use a biotic bonus power on a nonbiotic class. I know a lot of people are keen on Tungsten Ammo, but I never could feel the advantage it gave me on weapon damage considering I had Incineration Blast to cut through armor easily enough.

Why the one point in Cryo Ammo versus putting it into AI Hacking?

1.Thats exactly why I wont take Warp ammo, it just bugs me.
2. Thats mainly to equip to my heavy pistol for husks and such, but for geth missions, I'll more than likely respec

What difficulty are you playing on? I think I maxed passives first on my hardcore play through but I don't remember. I generally do it so I don't have to worry about paragon stuff on top of wanting better cooldowns regardless of class.

I max the passive, then go for Reave or Incinerate, then Disruptor Ammo. Tactical cloak is meh, the only time it's more useful than Reave is when hitting shields, and I just hate that everyone hides as soon as you use it. Maybe go for squad cryo instead :P

Cloak and Incinerate both have the same cooldown, but Cloak allows me to one shot a lot of enemies, while incinerate will only strip their armor though. Hmmmm, I'll have to give this some thought

I started out by going for Cloak and Passive, fairly evenly, but I was having a bit of a hard time, so I respecced into Incineration Blast (the AOE version), Area Energy Drain, and then passive and I'm working on Cloak. I've got Disruptor ammo at lvl 2 at the moment.

So far, this set-up is working MUCH better for me, personally, on insanity. I have the sniper rifle, I have the cloak, but I tend to play the infiltrator a bit more like a caster class, at least in the early stages of a fight. Once the enemies are thinned down a bit, I can use the sniper rifle to drop a few more, then cloak, advance with SMG to finish them off. It's a personal preference for playstyle. I get the satisfaction of a good solid advance, playing aggressively, while not having to tear my hair out because I got too aggressive. Fits me to a T.

I enjoyed the Sentinel and Adept playthrus I had, but I didn't like how conservative you had to play (never got the hang of an Assault Sentinel, just didn't work for me, for some reason). The infiltrator lets me be conservative when I want to be, but then when the time is right, switch on the bloodlust and go bust a cap in a merc's @ss at point blank range.

Works for me, certainly won't fit everyone's playstyle, but give it a try if you like. It may work for ya.

Just depends on if you can deal with the enemies hiding when you pop cloak, I tend to shoot and miss, I think incinerate deals more damage to armoured targets and reave more to armoured/barriered targets than the bonus damage from cloak, either way you're using a cooldown and one bullet. Cloak's better against shielded targets though : / My playstyle tends to be start with SMG and Miranda's overload to strip shields off everyone, then switch to sniper to finish them all off. Might not be the fastest method but when I fail at aiming during cloak it's much better for me :)

1pt Incinerate, 1pt Cryo, max passive, max cloak, 1pt Hack, Tungsten, Squad Disruptor, R3 Incinerate, R2 Hack.

Personally though, I'd have picked Energy Drain, Neural Shock or Flashbang, or maybe even GSB. You don't really need help against armour and Cryo is better vs health.
