Hey does anyone have any ideas

i have the CE copy of Dragon Age but i recently moved and i dont have a clue what i have done with my book i have everything else the map, 3 cd's, the case, even the keys to unlock my CE stuff. I was playing it and did not even think about the book after i moved but then got a copy of Win7 and formated my PC to install that then went to install DA:o again to play it when i got the expansion but cant install because of no CD key

See, this is why you should have registered the game here on these forums the moment you installed it the first time, that way if you lose your key, you can just come on here and retrieve it from your user profile.

As for what to do now,  I don't know what you can do, short of doing stuff that you can't really discuss here

You can? Please tell me how:O I haven't been able to figure it out on this new forum. I had to go to "unspeakable methods" when reinstalling DA on my new comp

You can't retrieve your key from this site. At least, there's no way of which I'm aware. If you know how, please share.

OP: you're probably out of luck, but I'd suggest contacting EA support.

On a side note: if anyone has lost their key, but still have the game installed, you can find it by running the config utility.

ok, for some reason, i have the game installed and looked at the configure window and it doesnt show me my product key. any reason why that would happen?

You need to go into the configure window, then click on -game-
It should show you the cd keys for Origins - and Awakenings - if you have it, of course.
