I've been searching around, pondering, coin-flipping for the past hour or so deciding between these two choices.

Both are DDR3 1600 and 2x2gb, one is CL7, the other CL8, and some other minor differences.

Team Group CL7
Corsair CL8

While the Team Group's CL7 is supposedly faster due to the briefer latency time, Corsair seems to have better cooling. Assuming price is not a problem within this range(so Corsair CL7 is out of equation), which would be the better choice for someone who will be running on an AMD&ATi system with no intention of overclocking at the moment?

Have you checked out the DA:O PC Hardware group? The folks there would likely have a useful recommendation. In my view, though, the difference between the two isn't big enough to agonize over - go with whatever's cheaper or easier to come by.

Are you going to be doing video editing or playing Crysis multiplayer at full settings on some ungodly resolution? No? Then get the Corsair.
