If Bioware makes a new intellectual property, what type of game would you like it to be?

I'd love to see something steampunk themed. Or something that mixes magic and technology, similar to what lv12medic said.

I agree I think that would be mind blowing

I don't like this idea of mythpunk. It'll have to be done in a way that doesn't come off as corny. In way where both the magic, technology and whatever mythical creature doesn't just stand out. I guess one good example of blending supernatural a more technological based setting would be Star Wars(I'm referring to the Force before they explained it with midi-chlorians).

Though it would be intriguing to see how they pull it off(though I'm not entirely fond of the idea).

If I didn't have a sense of humor, I would be seriously angry right now.

edit: getting back on topic I think it would be great if they made a necromancer based game... because necromancers are awesome

Weird Western (wild west with magic and monsters) RPG. I played a pen and paper RPG back in the day in a setting like this, and it was awesome. Don't remember the name of the game though.

Otherwise, like I said in the other thread, a turn based strategy game. Better yet, a turn based strategy RPG. I wouldn't be picky about the setting really, this genre needs more quality titles in it.

KOTOR III ... has many potentials to be the next project after ME3. Great Story and choices + many great Characters. If they have problems with Lucasarts or Obsidian, BIOWARE SHOULD SOLVE IT, because many people here want Kotor III.

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic meets Forgotten Realms.
FPS swordplay and magic in Faerûn, what could possibly go wrong?

Or a game set in my favourite fantasy setting M.A.G.U.S, which is basically the hungarian D&D, damn, that would be awesome.

Atari holding the D&D license, IIRC? :P
But I like that idea.

I'd want them to make a Japanese style dating simulator.

I wouldn't mind that so long as the girls wear those short school girl uniforms.

I'm usually not much for time travel anymore (Basically killed Star Trek for me), but I think Bioware would do an awesome job of a time travel game!

I think they could do an awesome 'cause and effect' style system with that!

I agee. The end to the third part was epic! Of course you need to play all three (well, maybe just the first one) to really appreciate it.

A modern sci-fi party-based turn-based RPG. Like, the setting of Bloodlines or Alpha Protocol or Deus Ex, but with the combat and gameplay mechanics of KotOR.

I don't think such a game has ever been made.
