If Bioware makes a new intellectual property, what type of game would you like it to be?

Exotic beauty.
Actually, I would consider everyone OS89 listed beautiful. Not all of them are pleasant people, however.

It was necessary for them to sell more books. It's the same reason WotC keeps reinventing D&D every few years. Eventually they cover every area of a setting possible. The only aspects left are those they believe will not sell books. At that point it comes time to reinvent the game. In the case of White Wolf, they probably thought the only way to truly start fresh was losing every previous edition's baggage. This will inevitably occur again. It is what happens when one takes a modular, storytelling based game and needs to turn a profit.
ehhh, I guess you're right. Still, it infuriates me that because of this we'll never see a proper sequel to Bloodlines. I don't think I'll ever find a game as scary as that one again for the rest of my life.
I think maybe Bioware should make their own original source material involving vampire, werewolves etc in an RPG setting.

Steampunk, because there's only been like one decent Steampunk video game in history, and Bioware would make a fantastic RPG like they always, so we'd FINALLY get a proper Steampunk game.
Alternatively, a Dresden Files Bioware game would be pretty sick, would have to be non-canon though, or AU. That said, could be sweet as hell.
I concur with the steampunk idea.
Honestly though, I do love sci-fi and for the longest time all we had coming out was fantasy. Maybe a few more futuristic sci-fi adventure games would be nice. I love action and RPGs, but sometimes a good adventure/mystery is what I really want.

Although all I really want is KOTOR 3. Man I miss running around randomly igniting my lightsabre just to hear the noise and wave it about.

Again not a "new intellectual property"
Even as a joke statement
What would have worked better is
"A Dating Sim where you play as an overweight man in his late 40s that tries to pick up women and escape awkward situations"

Still on the urban sci-fi/fantasy setting. They could go for something realistic, it would be really new for Bioware, although it could get really hard and take too much resources.

- A 6 to 9 people party with a lot more strategic possibilities
- Less party interaction. Really, Dragon Age was too much for my taste.
- No origins any more. Yeah they where great. But overall not worth it.
- A better rulesystem than what they did this time.
- More and more specialized classes, more and more different races.
- Complete redesign of skills as skills, not a variant of feats. Dont force me to level 10 before my Rogue finally got all the skills. Why do Rogues get such an awful start, anyway.
- No specializations or more meaningful specializations.
- More magic. A world where magic is common and its unusual if you cant do any.
- Summon and Teleport Magic, Invisibility, all the stuff they left out.
- No forced explanations for superflous stereotypes such as "elves dont die" or "dwarves cant do magic".
Ok, on second thought, maybe they should just keep doing what they're doing. After all, story is the strength of Bioware. So they should play their strength, no ?

I wouldn't mind that so long as the girls wear those short school girl uniforms.

Nah, dont reuse the original setting.Blind Bard wrote...
You're referring to the "Requiem"
setting, right? If so, I agree, the old concept with the Camarilla and
the Sabbat, the Jyhad and Gehenna was much, much better and the clans
were better thought of and structured. The new setting is kind of,
well, Vanilla.
Make something own.
Err ... whats Mass Effect to you ?marbatico wrote...
i'd like to see them make an fps, just to see how they would handle that.
Also, who cares ? Theres enoug game companies out there who do fps.

Though I think they'd do well with something like Dark Heresy, Corparations, Chanegling or Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines

Bioware's first NATAL game - Based on tracking the player's 2 hands only, the concept of the game is the player-character wears two gloves. These gloves give the power to control 2 dimensions of reality, with 1 hand you control space and with the other hand you control time.
I call it CHRONO-FIST...or something more clever
