Duncan is the father! She's about the right age to have been the mage he seduced in the Circle Tower. And the child is Anders!

OK, that's my conspiracy theory for the day.

Wynne love child....? Where is this hinted in the game? lol

Bit that made me go "huh?!" was in origin. When Alistair kisses the warden, who has become the Queen, goodbye, she moves her head and he kisses her cheek. Did they have a fight or something or is this just politeness because they're royalty...?

I was expecting them to find an empty room or something seeing as they'll be apart for a while...

Wynne has a son that she'll tell Alistair about in banter. He was taken from her by the Chantry pretty much as soon as she gave birth.

This son is called Father Kolgrim and worships the true Andraste.

Ahh right, that banter never popped up for me.

Is that true or just guesswork or a joke?  And who and where is he?  He's not the crazy guy in haven is he?

Would I sound like one of he whiners if I said it would have been cool if it turned out a human PC was Wynne's child?

I'd say it would be a bit of a let down for all would-be princes and princesses of Fereldan who find themselves deprived of their noble status, but otherwise a cool idea.

Unfortunately it´only a joke.. But I would like it if it was true.

Imagine Wynne´s face when you defile the ashes and she goes mad and Kolgrim comes like "Hey mum, what´s wrong with you?":devil::devil::devil:

She´d probably die from a heart attack^^

At the very least, this would have rocked for a mage... in my opinion.

(Then again, I wanted to be able to, as a HNF/HNM, bring Eleanor along...)

It would require her not to know if she had a daughter or son or to have gender of her child she told Alistair about change based on the gender of the mage.

One of the big headscratchers for me was how (almost) everyone immediately recognizes you as the Warden. Sure; there's apparently a drawing of your face going between the hands of some guardsmen at the Palace, but unless your character has funky tattoos and clown make-up, any description of you would be lacking, to say the least. Those soldiers in Lothering were actively searching you down - I can buy that they might have thought that the Grey Wardens sent to light the beacon could have survived, but how are they so familiar with your appearance when Loghain himself doesn't recognize you unless you speak with him at Ostagar?

This for me definitely - it would be different if there was a uniform ;-)

I just assumed it was because i'm that awesome... But since it happened to everyone... Yeah, it bothers me now also.

The mage Duncan beds was named "Vivian" so unless Wynne changed her name Duncan wasn't the father of her baby ;)

Still, they recorded alternate lines for a lot of the dialogue. It wouldn't have been impossible to have done this.

Not that Bioware should have. It would have been cool but not necessary.

Some of the Wardens this could make sense for. "Heavily armed elf", for instance, is always going to attract attention and if I had a sovereign for every time someone told me they'd never seen a dwarven warrior before...

For humans, though, it is a bit strange.

Wonder if Irving is the father of Wynne's love child....

Irving is the father of 40% of Fereldan Children.

The other 60% are from Teagan:whistle:

Nah. I'd say it more like

Teagan: 60%
Irving: 20%
Maric: 20%

What is the purpose of getting corpse gall as a reward during the "Final Assault" Fort Drakon battle? Shouldn't those be gold or something else, why corpse gall?

Because they were reanimated dead?

I know what they are, you're missing my point or being a smart-ass. My point is: shouldn't the drop be a better reward for putting them back in the fade where they belong; such as, more mola or health/heal potions. Is there a purpose for a future game on why these corpse galls are at the end to pick-up? If we need them for future dlc I'm in trouble I sold all of mine to Sandal.

Simmer down, Elvalia, she wasn't trying to make you mad. I bet the reason is because they'd have to create different mobs for that final part. If DA works like Oblivion, creatures have a list of things that randomly drop from them. I might be wrong though.

Dammit! There goes my theory. It's a toss up between Irvine and Maric then. Posted Image

I bet the Corpse Gall is needed for the additional reward for the Chantry Board quest "Skin Deep". I don't remember there being an additional reward on my 1st playthrough, but I'm going for it in my current one.

Helluva hard to get, that Corpse gall (you need 18 for the additional reward), AND you can't finsh ANY Chantry Board quests before this one, due to the fact they all get summarized together and it would just finish with normal reward.

On Topic: I was pretty "Huh!?!" When Shale turned on me and join Caridin when I decided to preserve the Anvil. I wast left without any real tank (Oghren doesn't have taunt yet, as he's auto-levelled that way) - ended up me with Miasma up running in circles with Caridin and his golems chasing me and the rest 2 of the team blasting at them. Must have been one of the hardest fights in the game, definitely harder than the Archdemon, lol.

I think most fights are harder than the Archdemon fight. I usually just let my main character (unless she's a mage), Alistair and Wynne run around while I control Morrigan and slowly kill the AD. Unless I'm a mage, then I let Morri run around and me kill the Archdemon slowly. It helps having a massive army, lol.
