@truppp: Getting 18's not that hard. Corpse galls drop at Redcliffe, the mage tower, Honnleath, the Brecilian forest and some random encounters. And you can finish other Chantry quests if you just avoid taking the Skin Deep one until you have the 18 galls.

I bet the Corpse Gall is needed for the additional reward for the Chantry Board quest "Skin Deep". I don't remember there being an additional reward on my 1st playthrough, but I'm going for it in my current one.

Helluva hard to get, that Corpse gall (you need 18 for the additional reward), AND you can't finsh ANY Chantry Board quests before this one, due to the fact they all get summarized together and it would just finish with normal reward.

On Topic: I was pretty "Huh!?!" When Shale turned on me and join Caridin when I decided to preserve the Anvil. I wast left without any real tank (Oghren doesn't have taunt yet, as he's auto-levelled that way) - ended up me with Miasma up running in circles with Caridin and his golems chasing me and the rest 2 of the team blasting at them. Must have been one of the hardest fights in the game, definitely harder than the Archdemon, lol.

No, I'm talking about the corpse gall you pick up just before the archdemon battle there in Fort Drakon.  You should have the corpse gall quest done way before this battle.  I don't understand the drop for loot being corpse gall?  Yup, that made me go...huh?

I wait on the Chantry Board quest until I've run through Redcliffe and Elvan Ruins.  I never have a problem finding all 18 of them for the higher reward.

It's because those mobs are programmed to drop corpse gall, no matter when you encounter them during the game.

Here is my new 'huh' moment, where is my mabari? In DA:A I am the GW commander and all that good stuff, but where was my dog? I see no reason to leave the dog behind when my character went to her new post. Most other origins I am willing to believe the dog left with Sten, but not the Human noble. I missed my dog ;.;

When playing as an Elf Mage, I chose to adorn myself with a large tattoo to sim my Dalish pride. But for some reason, so many seem to believe I come from an Alienage. Of course, when it is Lilliana, I go along with it....

Do the Dalish even have Circle Mages? I thought they kept all of their Magi to themselves to train as Keepers?

(Not saying you can't RP it as Dalish, or 'YOURE WRONG WRONG WRONG RAAAAH', just wondering.)

Just like the City Elves, the Dalish often have problems with missing children. In fact, at least one fairly important NPC has knowledge of this. So I simply planned on playing such a Lost Boy, and would enter the Circle much like Wynne.

This is another 'irk' thing, why does everyone look liked they confused their hair gel with plaster when we have seen with Jade Empire that they can do much, much better?
