Hi!

I'm a toolset newbie and was hoping that someone could help me out:

I want to change the appearance of some of the items in the game. More specifically, I would like to change the appearance of some of the staves because some of the models are a little long for my dwarven mage (created with the  wonderful "adopted" mod).

Is there an easy way to do this, maybe an online guide?

I guess the winter forge mod could be used to achieve this, but the problem is, that I need a solution for Awakening.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!
M.

For an easy fix, you could try this.

I used it to scale down all daggers, swords and 2-handed weapons, including the ones from Awakening, and it works like a charm. It's fairly buggy though.

If you wanted to shorten a model without changing its bulkiness or make more complex model manipulations, though, you'd need a real modeling software and the import/export plugins to go with it.

Thanks for the link.

I wasn't even thinking about messing around with the models but merely switching form one model to another, e.g. changing the extralong spellfury model to one of the regular staff models, like the acolyte's staff. I guess that would probably be not too hard to accomplish, but I'm a little scared of messing things up... :)
