*Cried when Alistair did the DR with Morrigan. Not because she was upset that Alistair with with someone else, but because she knew at that moment she had fundimentally changed a very innocent man when he was willing to father a bastard child.

Oh, I really like this part. I never thought about that but it does make sense...

I would write about my two canonical Wardens, but (and at the risk of sounding stupid) I don't know how to upload their profile and pictures. I play on console and I cannot connect to the net and Xbox Live at the same time. So I guess I am screwed right?

In my yet unpublished fan fiction, I toy with the idea that my character made Alistair into the man he needs to be and that she thought she wanted him to be, but ultimately can't be with him when he doesn't refuse the DR the way she thought he would. Ahh...she's such a tragic character. Posted Image

And not to get entirely off subject, an Alt character-

Rentax Brosca:

*Believes in survival of the fittest.
*Will never admit it, but he has a soft spot for women.
*Will do almost anything for enough money.
*Thinks Elves are weak.
*Think Humans are arrogant.
*Wanted to sing and dance for joy when that whiny human princeling was executed.
*Did't have that much of a beef with Loghain.
*Really enjoyed throwing the body of that idiot human king to the wolves.
*Got drunk with Oghren regularly.
*Turned down Morrigan because he ain't no baby daddy, besides that Loghain guy wanted to get himself killed, idiot.

Yeah, Alistair obeys the Warden even when she says for him to cheat on her.

Interesting thread, great reading about everyone's wardens, anyways here's mine.

Eirwen Mahariel
*She is a very devoted Dalish, sparing no expense to acquire all manner of ancient elven artifacts in her travels.

*Her brush with death and the loss of her childhood friend, Tamlen, turned her formerly mischievous and outgoing nature to a quiet and reserved demeanor. It took a dashing Antivan assassin and a lot of cajoling to reawaken her fun loving side.

*She initially resented Alistair for forcing the leadership role upon her but eventually found a good friend in him that made her more tolerant of humans as a whole.

*Thanks to a mysterious tutor, she was able to master the nearly dead art of elven enchanting and found in it a way to relax and cope with all of the pressure put upon her during her quest to end the blight. She has since expanded her learning to mainstream dwarven enchanting methods as well.

*During her time ruling as the Warden Commander of Vigil's Keep she suffered a near mental breakdown, feeling trapped within a stuffy human noble's life and cut off from the natural world she knew. After one particularly frustrating gathering of the nobles she disappeared from the keep, emerging from a nearby forest three days later wearing nothing but a bear pelt and carrying a bow roughly crafted from still living sylvanwood.

I have many wardens but my favourite at the moment is a very odd Cousland:

/da_game_other/portraits/1560000/1559184/1559184.png

Devrim Cousland

-Spent too much time in the library reading novels about noble heroes as a child and after the chock of Howe’s betrayal, he went a little crazy and decided that in addition to dealing with the blight he is also going to fight injustice in Ferelden by stealing from the rich and giving to the poor.

-Sometimes the poor is actually himself but he always gives the maximum amount to people who ask for money, only pickpockets nobles and doesn’t lockpick in dust town or the alienage.

-Alistair, Zevrean, Oghren and especially Sten do not in fact, like to be referred to as “Merry men” but he does it anyway and they haven’t killed him yet.

-Has sword/dagger as his real weapon specialisation but walks around with bow and arrows since he likes people to think he is a good archer.

-One would think Leilana would be his ideal partner but they don’t really get along after some discussions about city elves and the chantry and instead he has relationships with both Zevran and Morrigan but avoids them both at the moment so they don’t find out about each other.

-He also has the idea that marrying a queen would give some political power that could be used with a secret agenda to change society.

This thread is really interesting! I'll add my fav character to the pool.

<-- Maeve Amell

+ Changed her name from Solona to Maeve after being taken by the templars. Her parents told her their daughter was dead, so she decided to start anew. Kept her last name purely out of spite.

+ Has a habit of charging head first into situations, including battles (she just loves using mind blast to stun her opponents and let the warriors finish them up.) She’s a battlemage at heart, but had to settle for AW until Awakenings.

+ Reluctantly learned healing magic since she’s always getting hurt. She doesn’t mind her own blood, but she hates other people’s and had a hard time adjusting to her role as spirit healer because of her squeamishness.

+ She doesn’t typically get along with other women, and very much enjoys being one of the boys. She was a bit of a loner at the tower because most of her time was spent with her nose in a book or practicing her magic. People tend to see her as a know-it-all or a show off, but she doesn’t really dwell on other people’s opinions that much.

+ Jowan is her kryptonite. She would do anything to protect him, even if it means that she might end up dead or tranquil as a result. She’s blind to his weaknesses and never really blamed him for his deceit. He’s like a brother to her, but she clings to him out of fear of abandonment.

+ When she’s not shooting lightning at fools or knocking them unconscious, she likes to draw. It’s how she passed time in the Circle and she’s had many years of practice. She particularly likes drawing plants and animals, since there aren’t too many of those at the tower.

Ser Aedan Cousland.
- Loves his first name
- He is sarcastic, a bit stoic and very open minded
- Always has a plan B
- He can cook
- Doesn’t find elves attractive
- Believes in the Maker but doesn’t bother following the religion because the Maker is a total douchebag for abandoning his creation
- A highly skilled warrior. Fights like a bleeding archdemon
- When meeting Flemeth he thought she was very funny
- Named his dog Cannibal. He is the only person in the game who doesn’t get affected by his sad eyes and whines
- Before the events of Origins, he never had a girlfriend. You can’t imagine how surprised he was that things turned out so well on his first night with Morrigan. After that he made fun of Alistair
- He loved the ‘Trapped in the Fade’ quest
- Loves tanking. I think it’s because he’s a little masochistic
- As a child he told Anora he liked her and that he was even going to marry her. This was embarrasing and she was older than him as well. Too bad that never happened and instead he ended up killing her father
