(And this is only for the raw hardware variations. Potential software conflicts are far more likely to be game play problems, and developers cannot test for all possible program loads.)
Please use SR Labs ONLY to obtain a printout of components. That's absolutely *ALL* it can be trustred for!
If you have been trying to use an extremely old computer with extremely obsolete components, there is a similar symptom that shows up with a particularly terrible Geforce video card generation, discussed in this article:
Empty Menu

If you replaced the working video card that you had been using that was working before, with something else, why was that information omitted? Or perhaps you started with a console version and just now have started trying the PC version?

I can start the game and go through the company logo vids. but the second the game is supposed to goto the main menu all i can see is a black background and the mouse cursor.
Open up dragon age launcher > configure> video
Make sure your resolution is correct...
Also you post the report if you want.
File> Save Report > save to desktop.
Open it up, and copy and paste it here.
EDIT: I disagree I believe systemrequirements lab is pretty reliable... but we would like to see your specs(they will included in that report if you post it)
