After going through the motivational thread a bit, and seeing what some can come up with, I thought it might be neat if people could create their own dialogue wheel images specifically. So I thought I'd share:
http://portalation.c...ff/dialogue.php

It works in a similar manner to the motivationals, where you upload an image off your computer, write some dialogue, configure some conditionals, and then save it to your own photo account or wherever you want it hosted.

Basically. you can end up with an image like this:

Shouldn't that be a good thing?

Thoughts:

- Great work
- You should consider adding paragon/renegade interrupt symbols as options (PC/360 versions if you're particularly daring)
- I had to switch browsers to upload a new image. It kept feeding the same original one I did back to me, even after I tried to do new ones.
- The text doesn't work well against certain backgrounds. Is there anything you can do about this?
- What are the parameters for landscape option? It seemed to squish this screenshot originally so I had to manually crop it so it wouldn't get squished.

Thanks guys, glad you like it so far. And the feedback can definitely help me improve the script once I get a chance to.

Was the issue only happening with one browser? I tested it a couple of times and didn't notice any issues with uploading.

I had spent probably about an hour or two fiddling with the text. I wasn't sure which font ME2 uses for general dialogue, it looks like Arial, but I wasn't sure (ME1 uses, Slider, but that didn't look all that great).

If anybody knows what font ME2 dialogue is, I'll be glad to change it.

The dimensions for the landscape option are 750 X 600. And the script automatically resizes the image, so if the horizontal dimension is really large, it probably will "squish" it. So 750 X 600 are the ideal image sizes you'll want to upload.

Also, concerning the dialogue text, I believe that was an issue in-game too. Given certain contrasts, the text was hard to read on certain backgrounds, not sure what exactly can be done about that, I'll think about what can be done.

Here's mine. Not the greatest, but this was the only good pic I had at the moment.

Mass Effect 2 uses two fonts: Myriad Pro (subtitles, dialogue wheels, et cetera) and Korataki (planet names, character names, et cetera). All subtitles and dialogue wheel text have a 1 or 1.5 pixel outline in black to make it easier to see when the subtitles are superimposed on light colors.

For example:

The title uses Korataki, the text uses Myriad Pro (no outline is used for planet information).

Mass Effect 1 mainly uses Domyouji for all text, including subtitles.
