Are you using Internet Explorer? IE has been known to have processing issues in the past. I'll try to see if I can fix it.
If you are, you could try using a browser like Firefox and see if you're still getting the same problem.
Anyway, I'm looking into it...

How do you guys get the text nice and centered like that? When I tried the text I got was huge (and wouldn't correct when I changed the font size, hell it wouldn't even show the changes I made to the text itself) and cut of on the right side.

It looks squashed, even though I resized it. I got it to work by changing the text.
I think you can't put too long a phrase in there (I originally had "You have a ship named Qwib-Qwib? *laugh*") and I think that was the source of the problem.

It "squishes" because it resizes the image.
For those that have too long of text, one solution is to just put it on the next line (by pressing enter inside the text box), although this may overlap the response below it if the font is too big.
