So I checked systemrequirementslab.com and i do meet thenminimum requirements.

The reccomended requirements however are where I ran into a bit of a roadblock.  According to systemrequirementslab, my CPU is not running at the reccommended speed to run DA:O.

the reccomended CPU is an
Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4 GHz Processor or equivalent.
I am running an
Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU T5550 @ 1.83GHz

I also have:

4GB of Ram

Running windows Vista 64 bit

and
NVIDIA GeForce 9500M GS
vid card

So my question is, how badly will the game run on my computer?  I ran the character creator, and I know its not much at all but it ran very smoothly. I apologize if this is in the wrong forum, and thanks in advance.  :)

That video card is in the bare minimum category, and is more of a problem than anything else.  Only Dell & Sager are selling laptops with available video upgrades, so you are probably stuck with the 9500.

If your screen will allow a number of pixels equivalent to 1024 by 768, whatever screen ratio you have, the frame rate may be acceptable for you.

P. S.  This time, it does seem that the SR Labs' results were relatively accurate, but they are wrong so often that they are a laughing stock all over the gaming places on the 'net.

Thank you, I guess its time to look into a relatively inexpensive gaming rig, eh?
