Ok so heres the story. i got red rings a few weeks ago and had to send off my xbox to be fixed/replaced. while it was gonw i borrowed my friends banned xbox so i coulde still play ME2 offline. but when i put in my HDD it said all my dlc was corrupt. i figured it was because i wasnt on live and decided to wait. now i have my new xbox, i put in the HDD and the dlc seems to be fine, but it says my saves are corrupted and offers to delete them. how do i fix my saves? thanks

You really shouldn't put your HDD on a banned Xbox. It corrupts your save games and your profiles, but the content such as arcade games and dlc should be fine I think. So the only thing to do is to delete your profile and save games, recover your profile from Xbox Live and start the game from scratch. Sorry. Hope this helped.

Thanks for the reply, but that isn't true. my account and all other saves for all my other games work perfectly. i moved my lisence to my new xbox, and everything is fine excpt my ME2 save. and it really sucks because that was like 3 saves. thanks anyway

Well, I had a similar problem. And I had all my save games corrupted. I don't know, also ask google about your problem? But basically, if something is corrupted on your HDD, it's most likely rendered useless.

Not saying it always corrupts and/or corrupts everything...It's just that by doing that you have a very high risk of corrupting ANY data on you HDD.  Meaning, putting your HDD into your friend's banned box was a very bad idea.  If had done it before without problems then you were very lucky because my sister had a similar problem to this when she tried to do practically the same thing on her bf's 360.  Her profile and Assassin's Creed data came out fine but everything else on her HDD was basically done like dinner and she had no choice but to delete it.

Moral of the story, nothing with the word "Ban" or "Banned" in it can be a good thing in the end.  So avoiding said consoles in the future may be your best bet Image IPB

Even it it was a BioWare contengency, I seriously doubt they'd do something that would corrupt your data like that...At least not on purpose. As stated, banned Xboxs = bad....

Thats the thing, i dont actually think its corrupted. according to ME2 it is, but on my HDD its the same as its always been. and all 3 files, but nothing else, seems strange. and the xbox i used was banned from live because the kid played with alot of people with modded xboxes, the xbox i used wasnt modded, so i dont think thats the problem.Image IPB
