Hi.

I appreciate anyone whom is taking the time to view this and has a solution to the following problem.

I had Mass Effect 2 installed through Steam on my computer and its hard drive died. It was a collectors edition copy, and also had the DLC for Zeed. Now That I have a new hard drive I cant seem to obtain my collector edition items, Zeed or anything.

Any help in resolving this matter, that is both legal and effective would be welcome. Pls no suggestions for ad-hock "tweaks" or "DL this from malware site x."

Thanks in advance!

The DLC is all still linked to whatever EA/Bioware account you were using. Which is probably the one you're posting with. Go to Profile -> Your registered game promotions on the side menu here.

Once again thanks for the info on how to use the dash here on Bioware. Yes all of my promos are there. How do I intergrate them into Mass Effect 2. The codes have allready been used along time ago. And My comp's hard drive died a long time ago.

But because the codes are a use once item, does that mean in the here and now- that I'm basicially cheated out of the content I bought origionally and downloaded, due to malware that got past my anti-virus at that time or a bad series of "windows updates"?

I could use some help here in getting that content back. Unless of course, EA and Bioware have a glacial policy of "one code one download" that isn't adaptive to the trojan/ malware and hard drive failure realities of computing in the modern high risk internet enviornment.

You just log into the account the DLC are bound to and download them here:

The codes are indeed one-use, but they are only used to register those DLC with your EA account. They remain on your EA account after that, so you shouldn't need to use any codes again.

As Recnamoken says, just go and ahead and re-download and re-install the DLCs. Then, the first time you start the game after installing all the DLC, make sure to log on to Cerberus using the EA account you've linked to your profile here so that it can all be validated. After that it's not supposed to matter whether you log in.
