I have the trophy and the platinum was this glitch after patch 1.03?

This is a glitch that came in after 1.03 on both xbox and ps3. It's very difficult now to get master warden or blight queller and no one really knows how to get them now. Several threads in both xbox and ps3 forums offer suggestions but they don't seem to work for everyone.

I had trouble with this one too, my girlfriend played 2 characters beginning to end, I played one to the very end and every origin story once up to and through ostagar, and never got the 500 kill trophy, then on my human noble, I was trying to get all 4 endings through reloading and during the 2nd reload I got the 500 kill, and then during the 3rd run through of denerim, I got 1000, which I know I didn't kill 500+ dark spawn in one run through, but know I killed over 2500+ through all play throughs, so I'd recommend just making a save right before denerim at the end and just reload and go through it over and over. the final dungeon skipping dialogue takes less then 40 minutes, and I got both trophies in maybe an hour.

I've gotten both those already. It counts across all your playthroughs. I got it after playing through my first character and I think halfway through the second and also starting up other characters that I stopped playing with so it's not really 2 characters.



But there could be a glitch. I've noticed glitches with trophies recently. Well there were 2 times and they were the harder ones and the ones that took time and somehow I unlocked them without meeting the requirements. Like I got Perfectionist after beating the game only twice. After beating it the 2nd time and loading up the first character and when I loaded it up I unlocked the achievement. I was like wtf but didn't ask questions. I just got a trophy that takes a few playthroughs that I didn't feel like doing at the time. I was happy but I little disappointed because I like to work for the trophies.

If you are still trying to solve this, there is something you can try.

Please be aware that if you do this, your installed DLC will dissapear (You can re-download it from the PSN store by going to "view my downloads", you don't need to pay or redeem codes again)

1. Do a full system backup
2. Go to "Game Data Utility"   -NOT SAVED DATA UTILITY-
3. Look for the Dragon Age file
4. Delete it
5. Launch your game. Don't install any patches -Play offline-
6. Load a save where you are close to 1000 kills and try again to see if trophy pops

If it works: Go back online, patch again, play normally
If it doesn't work: I have no other ideas
If the file doesn't load: Sometimes patched savegames cannot be played without the patches. You can
a) Apply patches again (go online and it will prompt you to)
Do a full system restore

I'm having trouble with this trophy as well. So i'm a little confused I thought that our darkspawn kills carried over to other playthroughs with our other characters or do we have to get 1000 kills in one playthrough because I have seen other threads where people just kept replaying the final chapter? Thanks

Well in theory this is fixed for ps3 in the latest patch... so good luck

Actually thats what i thought at first but then the mod or whatever said it was a misunderstanding and they were actually referring to adding the darkspawn chronicles trophies to the game and yes i've tried and i still am unable to get this blight queller trophy after updating and i almost have a plat but can't get it due to a glitched trophy.

Well I contacted BioWare support to see what was up, and first they told me it was an ingame problem and they don't deal with those issues. And so I asked who does, and then they told me to post here where game developers and experts can keep track of posts received.

...Yeah right.

The thing I don't get it, this is a big problem with PS3 users. It's not just you, not just me, but a ton of people. And the way to fix it? We have to work around their problem and cross our fingers in hopes that we will get it. I have probably 100 hours or more knocked into this game, and still no trophy.

What is the deal? I want a real "game developer or expert" to tell me what the problem is, and why it isn't being fixed. I don't want a 2 hour DLC, I want glitches fixed.

I had thesame problem getting Blight-Queller trophy before but i manage to fix it by reinstalling and reloading your game save so if it works for me why it shouldnt for you

Yes keep your old save files once you completed reinstalling everything including dlc's reload your old saves then save it again then load it again you should get the Blight-Queller trophy  thats if you killed 1000 or over darkspawn. i got it that way or you can try like one of my friend did after reinstalling and reloading and saving start a new game you should get the trophy on the first darkspawn you kill worth trying too.

I think you've been smocking too much plants. i have to disagree with you on this group kills do count to get the blight-queller trophy because i've done it.

Well it doesnt work atm lol i know people who got like 700+ kills on each character like 3000 total and they havent been able to get the trophies

It's meant to be anyone's kills and across all playthroughs, that's how it was when I got mine on the ps3 version of the game. But then it broke

I wonder what will happen if you download & install the dlc but not install the update. All of my characters with 500-1000 kills use dlc, so I can't access the save files w/o the dlc installed. I'll let you all know how it works out.

I downloaded the patch, started a new game (This would be my third full playthrough), and I'm at the final battle with the Arch Demon, and Master Warden(500) along with Blight Queller(1000) still haven't unlocked.



But hey, my game hasn't frozen once since the patch. There is a bright side to this after all.

^This.  I'd really like a respone from Bioware on this. 

Maybe they should focus on fixing the old before creating the new?  This game already has a ridiculous amount of dlc and an expansion.  I'm not going to purchase new content if I can't even complete the old.  I have doubts as to whether I will get a smooth playthrough with add on content after this has been broken for so long.

Did anyone get the get these trophies w/o actually completing the necessary requirements. The popped after my first play through w/o experiencing all the endings.
