Do you think this combination will be overpowered?
Mage,
spirit healer
blood magic
I mean, you can heal yourself very fast and good, and you can cast terrible strong spells with blood magic!
sensing overpoweredness..?

thank god for partymembers
but really, the specializations are ment to be an extra adittion, so you can make more powerful spells for example, but at a cost. now the cost is gone.

Discussing what may be overpowered before the game has even been released is kinda pointless since no one has played it, so no one can really give an opinion based on personal experience.
The devs have said they worked alot to make sure all classes and such was balanced i believe.

You still have to spend mana and time casting on all those blood and healing spellscaspertjuhh wrote...

Meh you would still be extemely vulnerable from melee and ranged classes. I wouldn't worry about negating the cost of blood magic until we are certian of the cost in the first place.

I'm wondering if not having a specialized healer in the group would make many of the encounters extremely hard to win. That would force either the player to specialize as a spirit healer mage or take the spirit healer companion at all times in the group.
It would be interesting to know if the normal mage healing and items would be enough to get by.
