so i didn't know that bodahn sold the manual all this time for ranger specialization. my rogue has the duelist specialization, but I wanted to get the ranger one for leliana, moreso for a new blood mage i was planning on leveling up, and I felt like her being a ranged would be very useful in the party make up i was going to do.

so i look up how to get the specialization online and everyone is like buy it from bodahn. i went up to him on my rogue, and he doesn't have it. i checked extremely thoroughly through all of the sections, and there's nothing there. i heard it was under the diamond with all the runes and stuff, but there's nothing there.

i thought it might be because i'm a rogue and it's just being stupid, so I went on my mage to him too, and it's not there. I tried with two other characters I had and nothing as well.

i am just so irritated, not just because of the actual problem but because NO ONE seems to have a solution to the problem. i've see a few people say they can't find it, but no one knows what's wrong or how to fix this.

it's crap because i was excited about trying out the ranger stuff, but I can't even get it on my rogue, which is just stupid.

i don't understand what's going on, couldn't be more confused, so if anyone has any help, that'd be great.

if you read the patch notes for 1.03 on the ps3 it says at level 14 all book based specs are unlocked. So if you are 14+ or have another char of 14+ it'll be unlocked automatically and the book vanishes from the vendor.

oh i feel stupid, i never actually checked to see if i already had the spec. thanks!

well.. in my story is a different thing. I went to bodahn for the ranger book. I found it. And the specialization was unlocked. But it was my mistake that I didnt save the game and went for Flemeth, to complete Morrigan's request. But me and my team were defeated. When I load the game, and went to Bodahn again, the book was not there anymore. And I am really frustrated. Is there anyway i can unlock that specialization without buying a book?

Nope, The book is the only way.

I think you get it for free in Awakening though.

I have the same problem. No manual, am level 14 and the specialization is not unlocked. It's really frustrating and i have not found any solution to this problem.
