My living room is a much better place than my computer room...I can keep an eye on my son while he is playing. (although, I don't play games like Dragon Age around him- I take game ratings seriously around my son)

Another reason why I prefer my bed...More of a matter of convienience.  While I dont usually lay down while playing, the bedroom just has a more "comfortable" feel to it as opposed to the living room.

I'm sure PC gaming popularity is closer to consoles than you think. It's just harder to keep track of the number of PC fans since very few of them actually buy games.

it all comes down to comfort factor. sure graphics on consoles lack in comparison to pc but comfort is the decisive factor. Plus most folks don't want to deal with problems that are associated when playing new games on computer (crashes, game not running, etc. etc.).



Its heavy risk ... but the priize. So to speak.

*confused* what does respect have to do with buying computer games?

I mean respect as in the gamer understands and respects the hard work and dedication that goes into making a game enough to shell over his own hard earned money for said product rather than holding some arrogant sense of entitlement, believing that everything is freeware and that gaming is a charity like most PC gamers think.

I figured it was on topic considering it relates to the disparity between console and PC gamers but it's your topic, your rules so fine.

I generally prefer console gaming because I don't want to put a lot of mileage on my PC. Usually I only use it for PC exclusives like Warcraft III.

No worries

As I said before, I come from the Atari 2600 generation so consoles just feel more "second nature" to me.  Ive had every console there is to have really....Atari, NeoGeo, Jaguar, Sega/Genesis/CD, Turbo Graphix 16, NES, SNES, Sega Saturn, N64, Xbox, 360, and now PS3....

Dont have a Wii so I guess I havent had ALL of them lol
