Nuuuu. :pinched:

Sorry, but when I read that part my mind just went to the gutter.

Fort's mind goes into the gutter whenever someone mentions Kaidan, I bet!

Resist the naughty thoughts!

My leering avatar gave it away, didn't it? <_<

I shall now use the words "sticky" and "Kaidan" in the same post.

KAIDAN.

STICKY.

:innocent:

Just move the oversized ones to the characters and stuff forum. Why wouldn't that work? This forum is for talking about stuff like ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL.

Goodwood thinks that was about as oblique as a sewing needle...or whatever that means.

Transparent as lead foil?

Ecael, do you really see it that way? No offense, but I don't see the different fans vying for the top spot at all. Of course,t he threads I participate are pretty hot only for the character they are dedicated to, and pretty much don;t care about what goes on in other places, so maybe I am missing something. But I think stickying is abad idea, because the stickying of threads is to get pertinent information out. By stickying the character threads, that would just make the frint page way too convoluted.

Like I said before and will say again, if someone really wants to post in a certain character thread, they will find it. Also, scrolling through three pages and more of threads does not take up that much effort. I think it's pointless to change what they already have now.

It's not that they're vying for the top spot, but that the position of each giant thread is constantly changing when it doesn't have to be. Each thread has been around long enough to either deserve a sticky (to keep it in place) or to have its own thread/subforum.

Then all the other threads will be jealous. How do they determine which deserves a sticky? After all, the Jacob "priiiize" thread is fanatical. If they sticky a few, they all have to be stickied. That's a lot of threads if one includes all possible squadmates and the popular npcs.

Going back to a previous (but relevant!) topic, that's exactly why they can't lock them either. Other threads will be jealous, and they'd expect a backlash.

They could just pick the 17 largest threads (one from each squadmate) and sticky those. The other NPCs aren't quite popular enough to justify a sticky.

How about they just leave it and keep it not complicated? If the character thread fans want to keep something, then they save it in their group or something. That's what the Kaidan thread does to stay "organized". I'm sure the other character threads do something comparable.

That's just a Harbinger support thread then.

Yeah, like Fort said, too many stickies. Stickied threads should only go to the ones shelling out pertinent new information.

Putting a sticky on character threads wouldn't prevent that from happening. It would just increase the ease of access to these threads.

Well, he/it certainly is bloody. An icon? Probably not, and he/it probably ain't no hero, either.

Why the <_< next to the Yankees banner?

It'd be complicated and it would hack people off that the character threads got preferential treatment. Stickies are for pertinent information or things that the devs have found to be novel.

Well, you could still justify stickying only the squadmate threads because they're squadmates and love interests. It's much more difficult to justify doing the same with other NPCs.

LOL  Cartims and I had a bet over the red SOx and Yankees this weekend.  If her team won, i would have to don this sigbar for a week and have a creepy default male Shepard avatar.  if the Sox won, then Cartims would have to don a Red Sox sig bar.  The Yankees beat the sh!t out of the Sox this weekend, so I am stuck with this god-awful Yankees sig.  I couldn't stomache the avatar for too long, so Cartims was nice enough to let me get my Thane back!!

Anyway, that's the gist, lol

Yeah, but what of us who have been working tirelessly to make the Biotic God both a squadmate and love interest?

The phonebook is also cluttered with irrelevant information and listings that I could care less about. It's an index, just like the forums.
