dumb idea is dumb. How would being a moderator really help him? If he wants to help people more power to him! Moderators are Bioware employee's that make sure people follow the rules and stay on topic..not someone that post's cute pictures about people whining and spending all day 'helping' people on a practically linear game.

well, totally a joke. its not about popularity, i should really hope a large majority of forum regulars are competent enough to lock or delete offensive/gross posts.

to be more serious, the reason i enjoy both Ecael and Handheld's posts are because of their posting style. Ecael is informative and helpful, but people (trolls) will flip out if he moderates them with funny or snarky jpegs. and i don't really want ecael to stop posting his snarky jpegs, so i'd rather he remain a funny poster than a strictly-helpful moderator.

I think the moderators that work at BioWare Edmonton directly (like Stanley Woo) are continuously playtesting the components for Mass Effect 3 during their work hours.

Unless they get really long vacations after a game is released...

Well, looks like Javier's gonna need some help then.

But I'm thinking the mods figure they'll be ok.
