I really don't know why you need to state majority/minority as qualifers. One of my things on the wishlist for ME3 is a stronger story; is that a minority view?
Do you know the count of people that are for or against the various points about ME2 that get brought up? The constant appeals to majority rules seems like you do.
If that were the case, then you'd focus on how Mass Effect 3 can be made better instead of why Mass Effect 2 is terrible. Even then, asking BioWare (of all game developers) to make a better story is about as vague as asking for a better game.
Ironically, how much they can focus on the main plot of Mass Effect 3 is heavily dependent on the character development from Mass Effect 2. If they decide to scrap all the characters from Mass Effect 2 (and Mass Effect 1), then it's likely that we'll see another game spent recruiting and doing character based missions, causing the main plot to be an afterthought, even with the trilogy ending.
In other words, if most of the well-developed characters from both games carry over into Mass Effect 3 (as in, they have major roles as squadmates or elsewhere), then Mass Effect 3 can be entirely focused on the main Reaper plot, and we'll get a better story without BioWare breaking a sweat.
