Me mentioning the story was only a small example to question your appeals. This thread is no place for a detailed explanation of what I think of the story.

I'm well aware that all of those things can't be done by a mod - or even most of the moderators on the forum. I asked Stanley Woo about it a while back - he told me that Chris Priestly (as Community Coordinator) is the only person with the power to change any of those.

The joke, I think, relied much on the idea that "moderators" aren't like politicians. The implied similarity where there is none was the joke. Ecael has shown support several of the points before but I think she knows better than to assume she can unilaterally change policy and I think she expected others to understand that as well. #5 was placed there specifically to indicate the list's jocular nature.

I get the satire of the polictal thing gonig on in this thread. Still the points I did comment on had read like  a truth through humor concept. As having more moderators is a valid idea and not inherently funny.
A very quick post to tell me that all of it was a joke would have saved the duress caused by the tones following my post.

So me having a sig is about my opinion of ME2 offends people around here, not my intention. There is no direct or indirect statement about people just the game.
Maybe it is the gif. Would a scrolling pic of Mirandas ass be better or how about a pic of Jacob with Kanye West shades, those things would surely be less offensive.

I don't see what "RPG" Mass Effect 2 is lacking, but even if it is mostly a shooter it's not a bad thing, especially with Dragon Age 2 and The Old Republic on the way.

Lack of RPG doesn't automatically mean lack of storyline.

I find those offensive as well. Your conclusion is really hard to grasp, how did you come to that?
The gif of the child is her dancing on her own free will; I am not ridiculing her because of her weight, mental disorder, or appearance nor am I treating her gif any differently because of her weight, mental disorder, or appearance. (That is if she has a mental disorder, she looks like a kid having fun to me.) Doing either still would amount to discrimination.

Goodwood would like to point out that he considers depictions of this person on the Internet to be highly offensive to humanity in general, regardless of one's mental state and/or capacity, and to use such exploitative depictions is to debase oneself more than could be done to or against the target of said depiction.



Goodwood would like to make mention of his dissatisfaction with TJSolo's continued attempts to dig a hole to China and bury himself in it.

Severe case of what exactly?
As best as I can find out about the child is that she is not mentally challenged but is obese and had some kind of hormone therapy. Now she is normal(smaller) and in school.
It is really hard to dig up facts about a random person in a meme on the internet.
The is no exploitation going on.
