Yeah not getting the joke kind of influences my responses. Missing the joke + comments = improper comments. I was not called out on it, I was lead down a path a ridicule and insults because I missed the fact all the points made were jokes.

I disagree with separating the character threads into a different forum. They fit under the category of the title of this particular forum, under the whole "storylines" thing. Moving the character threads to a different forum would promote an "us and them" mentality that would serve to segregate the forums at large. It's an attitude that singles out character threads from this forum and says "characters are not a campaign, quest, or storyline; they are not as important as the other aspects of the game". And what would be on this new character thread forum? There would be maybe twelve threads. Separating these threads from the main spoilers forum would be a waste of time and space.

Based on the fact that Ecael wants to move character discussion threads to a different forum, I must respectfully vote "no".

As I mentioned about a page before, even the moderators have no control over new forums. It's only Chris Priestly that decides whether new forums are made or not.

We can all vote for someone, but the decision ultimately lies in other hands. I don't know Ecael well enough, but from what I've seen, it should be someone more neutral, who is given the position of moderator.

Just my two cents

Moderators are allowed to have opinions - the most important quality would have to be consistency as well as experience. Those are traits I don't have on this forum, since I've only been here a few months compared to others who have frequented BioWare forums for years.

Javierabegazo's moderator status was well earned and well deserved. This thread is more of a parody of that, also serving to see how long it takes before this completely off-topic thread gets locked....

...Unless, of course, I'm going to be part of the Mass Effect 3 storyline.
