I don't know why this occured to me all of the sudden, but I've looked around and can't seem to find an answer. I don't know if I need a spoiler tag in the title or not, so I put one anyway just in case.
Did Doctor Chakwas have anything to do with the Lazarus Project to bring Commander Shepard back? I don't recall there being any mention of her involvement in the game, but it does make sense that she would have helped in some manner. I don't think Miranda is much of a Doctor really, and the guy at the beginning doesn't seem capable of handling it by himself, surely there was a team of Doctors we never really know about, right?

From everything that I have heard in game she did not. There was a team of doctors but they all died in the purge.

That's true, maybe it was just wishful thinking. I like Doctor Chakwas' character and hope that she has more screentime in ME3.

Chakwas probably has an impotant role, since she is the only crew member that can't get jellied. She also owes many Shepards a bottle of Serrice ice brandy, since she promised to buy the next one.
