I've beaten the game twice now and have been replaying my first career to fix a mistake I made near the end (thankfully I had a mid-game save). I was near to completing it again, having done nearly all the main and side missions just before acquiring the Reaper IFF and decided to make a run to Ilium to buy some weapon upgrades I could now afford. I buy them, return to the ship, and...they're not there. I tried to purchase something on my earlier save. Same thing occurred. Then I went to my other career, which was a completed game, and went to buy something at a different shop. Still didn't work. I've tried cleaning the disk, reloading the game from Disc 1, and clearing the cache. Still cannot buy upgrades. Or, to be more clear, I CAN buy the upgrades, the window does pop up at the time of purchase and I do lose the credits, but the window does NOT pop up once I return to the ship nor does it appear in the upgrade menu. I have no idea what to do other than delete everything - save games and DLC's included - and start over. I got the Firewalker and Kasumi DLC recently. I believe I did make purchases after getting that DLC, but I can't really be certain. I hate to have to delete it and pay the money to get it again, only to find out that it wasn't the problem. I'm just about to the end of my rope over this. I was looking forward to a few more games with different classes, but it'll be extremely difficult if I cannot resolve this issue.
If you have any ideas, please help.
Upgrades not appearing in lab

When you buy an upgrade you get it straight away. There's no need to research it
