I am currently reading 'Memoirs of a Geisha' (for the fifth time, I think...... I love that book!), and I'm also reading 'The girl who played with fire' by Stieg Larsson.

The last thing I read was ISO 7816. Sad but true.

It has been quite a while since I read any fiction, but the last thing I read was The Case of Charles Dexter Ward by HP Lovecraft (for the third time).

I need to read more fiction. People give me recommendations, but usually I don't like it.

Probably means the ending. "I am Legend" has a very different meaning in the book.

Ok. I don't remember the ending of the movie, either, but don't spoil as it's something I might read someday. I actually didn't even know it was a book.

The movie was based loosely on the novel and while at the time i found it a half decent flick it could have been so much better if they had followed the novel more closely. A classic in fact.

Excellent series!!

Unfortunately I have been quite busy as of late and haven't really had the time to get into it but from what I've been told it's ASoIaF dark so I'm expecting great things.

I have no doubt your expectations will be realized . . .in full.

The comparison to aSoIaF is a good one, actually.  This is a gritty series, no happy little hobbits or any of that silliness . . .just real, ordinary people stuck with the hand they're dealt.

I think the series is, what, 5 or 6 books IIRC?  You'll need the time, but it will be well worth it.

I may have to reread that soon myself.

I'm reading Drew Hayden Taylor's AlterNATIVES.

I've also reading a journal article on how the Twilight books are like a Victorian era etiquette book...
